1st Boro hattrick after you were born

That is indeed correct, Dave Hodgson scored the last hattrick December 1980 uptil Bernies FAC v Blackpool & league v Huddersfield as you rightly pointed out

London_Boro, yours is the youngest Boro player to score a hattrick, Tony McAndrew final home game of the season v Sheffield United, 17th April 1976, our only hattrick that season
The last one before you were born was Boro's only hattrick of the 73-74 season at home v Sheff Weds 8-0 final home game of the season & our only hattrick that season too

November 10th 1956.
Boro 4 - 1 Nottingham Forest
Brian Clough. His 18th, 19th and 20th league goals of the season.
He had already scored twice in 4 games.

I'm sure my good friend Erimus74 will correct me if I'm wrong but I think its:

Forest v Boro 10th November 1956 - won 4 nil - Brian Clough hat trick

Tony McAndrew for me as well.
Just joined, frequent oneBoro poster over many year's.
Really like the new look Forum and hope to post more often.
Always enjoy Erimus 74 posts on both boards, they bring back so many good memories, maybe it's an age thing but football was so much more enjoyable in those days.
Anyway enjoying the forum, thanks for having me.

I had to wait over 3 years. Feb 1963 until May 1966 - last day of the season hattrick by Dickie Rooks, in a 5-3 defeat by Cardiff. We were relegated at the expense of Cardiff!

I'm sure I listened to this on the radio, but unlikely in 66, but certainly got score updates. Sad night, but led to my favorite season going to games with mates as 14 yr old

Graeme Souness vs Sheffield Wednesday, April 20 1974
An 8-0 win for rampant Boro against Wednesday was the showpiece result in a season of success for Jack Charlton’s champions.

It was the final home game of the campaign, and promotion-bound Boro signed off in style from the second tier, with tenacious young Scot Souness pulling the strings in midfield and providing a hat-trick of memorable goals.

I hadn’t reached my first birthday, so not one I remember

This is mine also. January 1975.

Mine came on the 22nd October 1960 when I was 8 days old, Brian Clough scored 3, Ronald Burbeck got 2 & James McLean scored, with a final score of Charlton 6 Boro 6
Still a league score draw record

No prizes for guessing when mine was erimus74 ;) Just another first to add to the list of firsts  my only caveat is we played Lille in the Anglo-French Friendship Cup a little earlier and we scored four goals in that game which will have been just before you were born, I don’t know if anyone got 3 in that game. Do you have the info to hand for that game?

Souness v Sheffield Wednesday, April 20th 1974. Last home game of the season and Boro won 8-0! The first I saw in person was the Ravanelli v Liverpool. one in 1996.
