Great film, was almost perfect imho. Obviously very moving and harrowing to watch.

But one thing that’s bugging me. How the eff would the trench letter be legible after he’d been down that river? It dried very quickly too.

I think the real plot hole is that Richard Madden looks absolutely nothing like the actor playing his brother, yet the main character had to rely on them looking alike to identify him.

I’d imagine they’d at least want their story to be told rather than their deaths just forgotten about?
