Wow, probably the best film I've seen. Would highly recommend it. Graphics and very moving storyline with an added bit of Teesside

Amazing directorship. Thought the ........ scene was very tense. Lots of bits of historical truth well dramatised

I did enjoy it but...…… overyhyped
Far too many non plausible bits of action
Friend of mine summarised it quite well - the closest a film can be to a video game.

Very much my thoughts. It was like watching a live action version of Medal of Honour. Still very enjoyable and the single-shot style was brilliantly-done.

Just been to see it tonight and I’d echo the above, wow what a film. The way brought the horrors of the Great War to life in such stark detail was incredible.

very good and very powerful one of the best war films I’ve seen in years.

Went to see it Monday and thought it was brilliant. The lighting effects in the scene where he enters the town at night were awesome. Someone told me the river scenes were filmed on the Tees around High Force

What was 'the added bit of Teesside'? I didn't notice anything. Is it High Force as mentioned by SocraTees or something else?

I’ve just looked on IMDB and there is a location for Low Force? The person who told me also said some scenes were shot at Tees Barrage but I can’t recall anything in the film that would identify that location but then I didn’t expect to see slaloms and canoes.

Is mentioned that on the local news a few weeks back, spoke to the producer who recorded it & also high force

I believe the scenes where he’s in the water at the end is tees barrage white water rapids course
It's when he's in the rapids, that's the Barrage and then he goes over a waterfall and that's Low Force. They just used the main straight of the white water course and built a track alongside to film it and green screened the background. They were there about a month and the sequence lasts less than a minute. You can see why films cost so much. Dozens of people there for all that time for a short section of film.

Incredible. A must watch, try and make an effort to get to the cinema whilst it’s still on.
