How did the top 2 finish?

We should be aiming for top 2 and accepting the playoffs if it doesn't go well. Setting playoffs at best as a target this early in the season is setting up for failure. Even making the playoffs only gives you a 1 in 4 chance of promotion.

There is no getting away from the fact that a bad start to the season is difficult to recover from. It's not impossible but if we don't win on Sunday then that set of 4 results is something to be seriously concerned about.
 
Interesting table that and makes a lie that things are in place after 7 to 8 games.

Not so much the top 2 but certainly the play off teams.

Let’s all calm down a bit eh? Losing any game is disappointing but the season isn’t over because our reserves have lost to Barnsley. See where we are squad-wise at the end of the window and go from there.

The difference between us and them is their squad was sorted, they just weren't playing for the manager. An instant improvement overnight with the right man in charge.

We've got the right manager, we just haven't got the squad. We can't get that instant improvement. It's going to take a window's worth of recruitment to fix that. The window closes soon.
