This thread reminds me of when Southgate was in charge and after every game he said the same except it was games left and not pointsI'm trying to be positive - let's hope we get enough (somehow)

It really doesn't matter what form other teams are in, either in the playoff reckoning, midtable & deckchairs, or fighting relegation, our team is that unorganised, disjointed, couldnt give two hoots with no passion that we are simply not good enoughOf the 5 teams we play, only Millwall still have anything to play for, and even that is arguable.
They could be 8 points outside the play-offs when we face them.
Reading are mid table, even though they absolutely obliterated Luton.
Bristol City are mid table and haven't got a manager.
Cardiff should be cemented in the play-offs by the time we face them.
Sheff Wed are either mid table, out of form, and with nothing to play for, or they're in the relegation zone after a points deduction.
They're not imposing fixtures, if the players actually sort their acts out.
QPR are comfortably better going forwards than any of them, and we limited them to two real chances whilst playing poorly and presumably devoid of confidence.
Unfortunately you`re absolutely right. It really doesn't matter what form other teams are in, either in the playoff reckoning, midtable & deckchairs, or fighting relegation, our team is that unorganised, disjointed, couldnt give two hoots with no passion that we are simply not good enough
Players coming to the end of their contracts or looking for a move away also have a habit of pulling out all the stops against the big clubs.. or the last few games of the season. Agents can then spin the dissatisfaction line, the player is better than the club, the club have let the player down etc etc in the hope that they can sign a long term deal at their peak for a club the supported as a child..'deckchair' teams have shown a remarkable consistency for getting their best results of the season at this time if year, no pressure on them to perform or within the club.
