11 miles - 25k steps today

Best yet during my walk out, taking in the old Ayresome Park & general hospital landmarks

Plenty of Spotify listening 🎶👌

Excellent effort.

I started running at the start of the month and have just completed my third 10k of the week which I'm happy with. Also aimed for 500k steps in Feb and I've got 45k to do across the weekend.

We'll done on that, I don't think I could run for a bus now 🏃

At Glastonbury in 2019 I managed to average 35000 steps a day. I didn’t realise how much walking you actually do there. Think on the Friday I hit 40000 for the first time. Now I see why when I come back I’m completely knackered. And I thought it was the late Nights.

I can regularly get in 20k plus at work in anyone day but been building up my walks from 4 miles to 8
Its harder these days as there's nowhere to go if nature calls 😉

I'm not the best of runners. Certainly not built for speed but I'm ok with distance when I get going.
Saying that last Monday I went out for a walk, hoping to do the 8 mile one & walked, then run, then walked, building my running up, after a few miles in I done my right foot instep in & cancelled the 8 mile & just done 5, limped home the last mile

Ive been doing a lot of walking lately and it is doing me good to get out and about.

I was using a fit bit but I got tired of it telling me to move every hour and telling me I should be relaxing for bed!

I was regularly doing around six or seven miles a day.

Erimus: It was on one of my walks the other week that I took my new prophile photo.,the plaque remembering the Holgate wall.

Day off today. Ran 8 miles this morning. Beautiful sunny day here in the fens. Just a shame the scenery was a bit dull and flat. 26k steps in total today when you factor in my trip to Tesco, the local hardware store and Homebase this afty.
