...Juninho played at the Riverside one last time during a testimonial against PSV in-front of over 20,000. They won 3-2 on the day, and we were 2-0 up thanks to a Scott McDonald double, which isn't a terrible result if you compare the two teams, especially some of the young talent in the Dutch side!

I've still got the ticket from that day, my first and only time watching him play live.

A very depressing line-up for us that day:

Ikeme; McMahon, Hines (Bates 69), McManus, Hoyte (Grounds 81); Robson (Martin 69), Williams, Bailey, Zemmama (Smallwood 69); McDonald (Miller 83), Emnes (Juninho 55). Subs: Coyne (gk), Kink, Murphy, Franks.

A couple of standout names in the PSV team:

Isaksson; Pieters (Tamata 81), Marcelo (Addo 86), Bouma (Zeefuik 46), Manolev; Engelaar, Wijnaldum (Bakkal 69), Ojo; Lens (Ritzmaier 85), Mertens (Depay 69); Toivonen. Subs (not used): Sinouh, Strootman.

Wow, 10 years, didn't realise it was that long, we all went that day, son, daughter & wife, still have the tickets too

Yes I remember this like it was yesterday, remember him taking on a couple of psv players and he still had that bounce. Then he hit that free kick into row z. Classic juninho. Love the little fella
