Daniel Craig bows out.

Overall, I think he's been a good "James Bond" but who's next?

My preference would be Idris Elba. I think he could bring a moodier, darker element to the character.

Who would be your choice?

I'd be happy with Idris Elba too.

Only question mark is he'd be in his 50s by the time his films came out, he'd be comfortably the oldest Bond on his debut.

I'm sure he'd be spot on in his first film, but there would be question marks about his longevity.
I know Moore retired as Bond at 58, but he was well beyond his sell by date by then.

Elba is too old, it needs to be a younger man.

Tom Hardy tends to spoil films for me and I can't understand a word he is saying - Tom Holland and Nicholas Hoult are a good shout, but what about Rege Jean Page?

Tom Holland would be an awful James Bond, he looks and sounds like a 12 year old boy and there is absolutely nothing menacing about him.

Maybe the whole enterprise should bow out.

'British man singlehandedly saves the world' is all a bit meh these days.

Just my opinion. Not a popular one I know.

I think Fassbender has my vote if they selected one tomorrow… very underrated actor who has a good dark side to him.

Nicholas Hoult is a good shout but needs to bulk up a bit
