‘Aura’

Ah, I remember when ethos and epic were all the rage a few years back—I couldn’t stand it. I haven’t heard this one much, as of yet..

My kids say it. It just means something to do with status or how cool something is. Not sure what the problem is?

I can't say I've ever heard it used. That said I'm in my late 40s and my work mates are older

I fortunately seem to miss out on these new ' in ' words😂

Never heard of it before this thread. I wouldn’t have a clue what someone meant if they said it to me in the context being implied because the word already has a meaning and it’s not this.
The picture of Johnny Howson…a person can’t be ‘aura’, it’s incorrect English.
I’m not even that old (for this place!) but I find these football buzz words quite annoying.

After Boro selfishly and cruelly took away your opportunity for a good old moan at the very last minute at least they then thoughtfully used something on their social media that allows you to whinge about.

Ey? I’ve done no moaning me pal and if you make that insinuation again I’ll be introducing you to my good friends left and right. Are we clear?

To be fair I saw it loads on SM before that Boro post, and I don’t like it.

I was over the proverbial moon when Gilberto stroked that one home because Hull fans sing ‘you’re getting mauled by the Tigers’. They deserve relegating for that.
