I guess it's a short term gap filler. It's hardly a 'project big picture' signing a player to sell on and help sustain the club financially.

I've been reasonably happy with what we've brought in for frankly no money. Yet I'd say none are longterm investments who you can see being worth a few quid.

I guess maybe in the current climate it doesn't make sense to gamble.

I don't think that's warnock's style to be honest. I can't think of any signing he's made that has moved on for big money.
