Just had a quick read through his posts..defending Farage.Just checked back and he was also supporting the price increases last season, saying they were fair, and criticising Red Faction and other fans for taking issue with the increase, and that was during the early bird window.
So he's definitely that sort of person, doesn't impact him so he'll deflect.
I also defended the price increase in EB last season, but heavily criticised the kids prices, new SC prices and matchday rip off prices in particular.Just checked back and he was also supporting the price increases last season, saying they were fair, and criticising Red Faction and other fans for taking issue with the increase, and that was during the early bird window.

I really can’t see that NB.Allegedly 8127 season tickets available on the website (I can't be bothered to check).
With a capacity of 33,750 and an estimated 5k reserved for away fans in cup games, throw in 1k segregation, implies we have sold just below 20k.
What was the figure this time last year?
There'll be tickets available in GRFZ that arent available online so that'll bring that 8,127 figure up.Allegedly 8127 season tickets available on the website (I can't be bothered to check).

Agreed it's very hard to do an accurate tickets sold calculation (even for normal league games). There'll be tickets available in GRFZ that arent available online so that'll bring that 8,127 figure up.
Also there'll be other random blocks of seats that arent available for STs reserved for other things.
Flag waving / HT penalties / players family / friends etc.
I don't think every seat that is shown as unavailable will be an ST sold. There's roughly 500 seats shown as unavailable in blocks 42 and 43 for example which serve as the segregation between home and away fans.
Then how does every other team in the league manage to offer cheaper tickets than we do?The prices are high, but unfortunately that's the price of football. Who are people expecting to subsidise the match day experience and to pay for the signings people want to see? At these prices the club still lose millions of pounds, cheaper tickets won't guarantee more people in the ground, and wont increase revenue, that's usually based on success on the pitch, which means investment in the team, which means more spending.
Considering it was the most expensive in the league, the product has got significantly worse, and we spent last season playing at home in front of 10k empty seats every week, a fairly significant reduction could be justifiedIt has taken 6 pages to clarify that the season ticket prices have been frozen (not hiked). So what reduction were people expecting?

I'm not defending the prices but I bet we have to pay players more to come to Teesside (not a desirable location for a young lad), and our owner is no longer one of the rich ones, who has been subbing the club for a long time. Then how does every other team in the league manage to offer cheaper tickets than we do?
Haha so thats your twitter name ?I think you can be for or against without being a massive ****.
They are obviously an edgy attention seeker.
Rob ???@RoberttheBruce have we ever asked the club directly:
Why do we rank so high in ticket prices compared to the rest of the league
And if we have
What was the answer
I don’t use twitter anymore thanks.Haha so thats your twitter name ?
100% this. If i got another ST i’d fear i’d lose too many games due to work and my kids. So it’s too much of a waste. Then the walk up prices ain't cheap either.Last season only 5 of our first 12 matches kicked off at 3pm on a Saturday. Overall 23 of our 46 matches kicked off at 12.30 on a Saturday or were played on a Friday, Sunday or in midweek.
14 of the 23 home games were 3pm on a Saturday, the other 9 were played at a number of odd days and times.
I can’t speak for other clubs I don’t think this has been factored into anyone’s thinking yet tbh. It is still quite a new thing.
But if you’ve got kids or work shifts or nights, or have to travel into the Boro for matches or use public transport, only getting 14 home matches from 23 at 3pm on a Saturday is going to become a bit of a problem imo.
I work shifts and still bought season tickets despite working maybe 4 or 5 games a season. Ddint bother for this season. Thought if i miss it enough i might get one at Christmas but no doubt they will be vastly overpriced.100% this. If i got another ST i’d fear i’d lose too many games due to work and my kids.
