£374 Teesside to Aberdeen

They undercut Eastern Airways then bumped their prices up once Eastern pulled out. They've moved a lot of light to Newcastle now and I don't think they'll be here at all soon

About £100 on LNER without advance purchase or discounts.
Exactly. When I worked out of Aberdeen it was always LNER (or Virgin East Coast and East Coast before then).

Advanced tickets are a great deal if you’re on a regular rotation. I use to get singles for £20 if booked a few weeks in advance.

Flights are between £110 - 150 if you book at least 3 weeks in advance. I can leave my house at 4pm and be in Aberdeen at 615pm. Hopefully they don't pull out of Teesside IA. Train home can be as little as £20 quid if you book in advance however a taxi from Monte Darlo is 27 quid to Nunthorpe.

I got from Lviv (Ukraine) to boro, taxi, taxi, flight, flight and train for less than £300!!!

Aye, maybe you should start a go fund me for the poor rig workers. Down to their second last Merc.
Merc we all have X5 come with the job also free turkey dentist plan. Still don’t know what that’s got to do with price of flights.

It's not helping any recovery in the UK economy, is it. In the noughtys I worked in Glasgow and the fares from London made it feasible. About £30 quid or less, BA competing with British Midland.

Just had a look as I have to go up there soon with work for the day and it’s £250 return pretty much all March. The train from Darlington is £120 return the same month and takes 5.5 hours one way compared to an hour on the plane.

Don’t see the issue?

It’s February love to know where I’ll be in March. I looked at flying up so could watch game on Wednesday but looks like a earlier train
