One of the coolest dudes on the planet and a leading light of the Nouvelle Vague cinema of the late 50's/early 60's. I remember first seeing 'Un Bout de Souffle' and it blew my mind. A good innings at 88 but a sad day for cinephiles everywhere....

Was very impressed with them. Totally tore apart a really good Leicester side with their high tempo, pressing, mobile game. Antonio looked the real deal. They must be ready to challenge for the fourth spot. David Moyes has put together a really good squad there and I'm pleased for him...

Apologies if already posted but I just saw the piece in the Gazette. I used to listen to his phone ins on Century; both afternoon and late night. Always liked to spark a conversation that's for sure! Was due to be tried for possession of child pornography and obviously has taken his own life.

Looked a penalty to me that... Lindelof on Saha. Looks like he clipped him. And Ayew's offside? What, by the length of his big toe?!! This ain't right.

How did he play? Anyone watch it on the dodgy channel or listen to the commentary? Haven't heard much said but he seemed pivotal according to Tallentire in the Geezette.

I noticed both Puskas and Pele scored yesterday. I know they're great players but, that's a hell of a career in anyone's book!!
