    Next seasons realistic aim

We will naturally lose players as that's where we are. If we buy projects again like last year we will struggle again to get them jelled in to a unit again

    Dyksteel

He has never been good his technical ability is limited he looks so uncomfortable with the ball he looks lime he steps over it when dribbling. Positional he is poor limited pace and I still can't fathom out why we bought him.

David Hodgson - Under the Cosh

I was with him as a kid at an open day at AP he was giving out autographs I remember a bloke asking him "David is it true you been sold to Liverpool?" He replied " Don't believe everything you read in the papers" he signed for them the next day hated him for that and as a kid i got my first...

    Luke Thomas - Sign Him!

I am so glad you are not in charge of our club, he is the worst of the bunch we have signed on loan. Get rid and Greenwood too plus Barlaser and Aziz if they both do not pull their socks up as they couldn't tackle sleep between them both. Get a decent left sided attack in alongside Latte and...

Where do we stand on this?

If we take this in context and look at it from this angle, On that lovely police program last night the Boozey session aka the christening where a mass brawl breaks out. 15 police units attend 4 arrests and not one charge brought to anyone. Then we have this here I am sorry its absolutely...

Some unpleasant posting on here of late

None of my mates visit this site anymore and they all used to love it back in the day. I pop on every now and then but it's very left wing now sadly. It is all about Labour this and Labour that. Very anti Ben Houchen too. I hate the tories like most on here but Labour will be a lot worse that's...

    Andy McDonald - MP

Do you actually believe that ? If this was the case and trust me it isn't why are we seeing more and more houses been built by the coast? Do you really think Billions would of been spent building Dubai the Palm etc which is just above sea level. We were told in the 90's that the Maldives will be...

Devastating 1992 BBC documentary about Poverty in Hemlington.

I know most of them lads there sadly some no longer with us, one of them has done amazing work with kids with his charity he set up. He is a smashing lad and has done well. I was 22 then and just lost my job it was tough then but a good spirit in Hemlington. We have to give the youngsters some hope.

Captain Cook Birthplace Museum Closure Reversed

A genuine question, when was the last time any of you visited this place? I haven't in a long time I do go to the café there a bit as its dog friendly and its reasonably priced. The museum needs an overhaul I believe to start to get the customers back in as it always looks empty to me?

Is the Football bubble about to implode

I had a few years break from the Riverside as a season card holder, I still went to games but was more picky. This was down to my job at the time plus I was coaching mens footy on a Saturday afternoon. In between I got into Northern league and watched Thornaby a lot. At one point I went to 16...

Tell me something interesting about Middlesbrough…

We started to build an eiffal tower at the cenotaph entrance to Albert Park in the late 1800s I believe. It was to be a lot higher than the Paris one. The idea was people would come from far and wide and pay towards its construction. It never caught on and the first part of it lay rusting for...

    I’m a bit worried…

Personally I thought Howson was terrible really bad, he is towards the end of his career now and Barlauser isn't good enough either. We need 2 centre backs as none of them are good enough for this league as it shows in our stats I actually think Clarke is our best option at the back but he was...

    Boro v Port Vale 1986

I was there with my best mate who had just got his first car, I was 16 and was behind Archie Stephens when he let rip with that cracking goal. We also went to the Tuesday night game against pools as well. Weirdly I never saw any trouble at all but they were great times as a Boro fan.
