Because two human beings made a mistake, an error in judgment. I don’t think one is more consequential than the other. Dieng should’ve done better and so should the linesman. We get on with the game.

Brilliant game of football in which we’ve more than played our part, against a team loaded with players bought in the league above or with parachute payments. We’re cobbled together but we’ve done well imo.

Why focus on the linesman’s mistake and not Dieng’s terrible goalkeeping on the cross that led to Bamford’s goal?

That wasn’t a penalty imo. The Leeds player stuck his leg out and across Dijksteel as he knew Dijksteel would run into it. He initiated it. Absolute scum. We all hate Leeds scum.

He’s obviously sublimely talented but he’s been absolutely dreadful for months now. He was terrible yesterday. To be fair we don’t know what’s happening in his private life so there could be any number of reasons why he’s struggling so badly but he’s a shadow of the player he’s been in the past.
