What do you think Sammy Szmodics transfer fee will be.

He'll go to Southampton for 7 mil

    Maddo constantly criticising Engel

Engel was at fault for their goal, jumped in for a tackle he was never gonna win, they subsequently won the corner and scored. He is NOWEHERE near good enough for a team who wants to challenge for promotion. The incident you mention, yes clarke was at fault, and Engel did make a great block...

Playing Out from the Back without Quality

The "tactic" has earned us far more points than we've lost. There will always be the odd individual error, passes go astray all over the ptich, 1that's the nature of the beast. What we miss is having a "10" that we can clip a 40 yard pass into, to beat the press, and he can successfully hold...

    Ajay Matthews - Fabrizio Romano

Only reason I know who he is!

    Ajay Matthews - Fabrizio Romano

I think you could make the argument with Wood we cashed in our chips as we didn't believe he would go any higher rather than we lost him

Birger Meling, but that is a stretch! (not sure on the circumstances of him leaving either)

    Morsy & Luongo

Sometimes it just clicks for certain players, at certain times, in certain formations. Doesn't mean people necessarily did something wrong being unable to unlock that potential when they were at one particular club. "The Chuba Paradox" There wasn't teams beating down our door to take either...

I've seen Shea train down at Rockliffe and he is brilliant.

    Ajay Matthews - Fabrizio Romano

exactly - Hull and Coventry are two games at home in particular, squad on its knees, decimated by injury, lads on the pitch are out on their feet after 60 mins, with the only "senior pro" on the bench a left back. If that lads aren't getting on then, when are they?!?

Sheffield United starting next season with a points deduction if relegated.

Well I think from Memory Player A is Brewster Player B Berge Player E Ahmedhodzic They wouldn't have gone up without B or E as they were instrumental. I remember an "offside" goal by Berge when they won 1-0 up at SOL the day after we drew (luckily) at home to Stoke. That killed us.

Sheffield United starting next season with a points deduction if relegated.

I might be wrong on this as memory is a bit hazy, but I'm sure they were under an embargo for none payment, whilst continuing to play the players they hadn't paid for, refusing to sell those that they could have, all because they didn't want to weaken the team??? I'm sure one of them was...

Sheffield United starting next season with a points deduction if relegated.

Absolutely. The retrospective punishments when teams gain promotion and are then subsequently relegated are meaningless.

    Sam Greenwood

I'd say that is very much true. Noticeable when Greenwood isn't there, how exposed our left side is (more than usual)
  15. MickaelDebevePhenomenal

    Sam Greenwood

Tbf to the lad, he works hard out of possession. Sadly, if that is the best thing you can say about an attacking player, I think that speaks volumes. An upgrade is certainly needed next season.

Premier League introducing semi-automated offside from next season.

Allardyce, Pulis and Neil Warncok would Replace Klopp, Pep and Arteta at Liverpool, City and Arsenal!!!

    Is it still on?

No chance. Even if we were level on points id say we had very little chance. We still have Ipswich and Leeds to play. They have 4 games left and 3 are against god awful teams, in Brum, Swansea and Preston (how they are above us I will never know)
  18. MickaelDebevePhenomenal

    Ryan Giles

His poor defensive play, going in for a tackle he was never gonna win, led directly to the equaliser. He would be an expensive signing I'd imagine, who's best qualities are only realised in a very specific team shape and tactics. Although LB is an area we need improvement, hopefully this...

Kieran Scott’s recruitment really coming to fruition now

Whilst I agree with the point you are making to a degree, hypothetically, had we signed a striker in Jan, on loan, that would have seriously impacted ELL's game time. Game time that is vital in long term development, that should aid us next season.
