    Maddo constantly criticising Engel

If Engel is the weakest link in next seasons team then I think we will get promoted.

Anyone think houchen will get back in?

If the people of Teesside who dislike Houchen get out & vote, he loses. Don't let voter apathy get in the way of giving the whole damned lot of them a bloody nose...because make no mistake, as great for Teesside getting rid will be, it will also hammer yet another huge nail into the coffin of...

    Emma Hayes

He did zero wrong. Hayes is not used to losing. She did something stupid. When asked about it - apologise and move on. But oh no, as a number state above, she is so far up her own a@se she doubles down. One problem with her comments - it has a negative impact on serious issues of 'male...

Would you keep any of the loan players?

We were spoilt last season with the loanees. This year, they have added next to nothing. I very much hope we have upgrades in mind for every position they currently fill.

Penny Morduant - the art of light-touch loyalty

Nice? She defends this government. So - she a) actually believes they are doing a good job...and is therefore thick/deluded or b) doesnt believe it and doesn't care that they have destroyed the country, so not nice at all. I'll plump for the latter.

    Engel

Engel is ok in my opinion. A decent champo player. We were pretty dire as soon as Forss went off, but still would have won if Silvera hadn't done an airshot a 10yr old would be embarassed about. I don't think Saturday was down to Engel.

    Amad Diallo

And I thought it was to do with some oddity where in certain countries, the removal of a shirt would be considered offensive. As FIFA require standardised rules, it was applied to all. That may be a figment of my fevered imagination though.

Coburn is the 2nd Quickest at the club

I'm surprised if he is that quick - but he certainly isn't slow, like some make out. I also know that the spell where he was fit & lead the line was our only consistently successful spell of the season, however quick or otherwise he is.

If she tweets 'stop killing thousands of innocent women and their children' too I see no problem with it.

    Maddo post match

Brynn baffles me. Seems to get rave reviews where ever he goes. Now 23? At what point do he deem him good enough to be given a chance? And as for the full backs - utterly pointless signings, Thomas & Ayling. Dire, the pair of them. If we don't have a kid we could help develop who...

    Carrick

I continue to struggle to think of a season where we have been turned over at home by so many bang average through to utterly rank bad sides. Even given the injuries, its been woeful. Carrick has a lot of credit in the bank with most of us because of the football we played last year - but dear...

    Ayling and Thomas

Said a couple of weeks back - two utterly pointless additions. Peeing wages up the wall. Don't make us any better at all. Maybe we should have pooled the cash & got one striker on loan?

    India v England - 3rd Test

BBC says they can use a substitute fielder but thats it - no bowling/batting replacement. I think that can only be done in very limited circumstances.

I wouldn't if it was just me - but my lad loves it like I used to do, so I will.

The 24/25 promotion charge starts here

Agree with this. I will be astonished if Hackney does not get sold in the summer. And I think it will be to a top 6 club. With RVB, I really hope he stays...but I would think his ridiculous potential is clear to any scout who watches us. I think bids are inevitable.

The 24/25 promotion charge starts here

I'ld look at who we have on loan for starters...if we are not buying them, I'ld rather play some of the youngsters. Unless long term deals are in the offing, I find the signings of Ayling & Thomas completely baffling to be honest. And until Lath or Coburn are fit, lets give Forss an run of...

Whilst by no means perfect, Jones is absolutely crucial to this team. We look half the side when he doesn't play.

The most woeful, inept, “performance” since Michael Carrick took charge.

At home this season: Draws - Huddersfield, Rotherham Defeats - Stoke, Bristol City, Millwall, QPR Add to that points chucked away against 'decent' (?) teams when in total control - Hull, Sunderland, Coventry (albeit in that one we were out on our feet 2nd half). Our home form is atrocious...
