La Liga to start playing league matches in the USA.

39th game will definitely be top of the PL agenda next meeting, every £££ counts, hugely depressing if this is the future for the big European leagues

    British Bulldogs

Just seen ExeterBoro mention it on the what sport are you good at thread and believe it needs it's own thread. Loved playing this at school, used to have the odd PE session where the teachers couldn't be bothered so we got told to play BB but the best games where on a lunchtime where we'd have...

    Favourite butter?

This or other decent French butter always seem to taste slightly better than most standard Brit butter

    Worst jobs

Way back in time, I worked for a drain jetting and surveying company based in Surrey and we used to do some jobs on the old London system, was fascinating and definitely not the worst job in the world

What sports were you good at?

Loved footy above all else but sadly not that good, was the typical lump up front or at the back, however, was pretty decent bowler, was selected to play in one of the Middlesbrough youth teams but holidays and football got in the way so gave it up and was a decent back row rugby player, again...

    Doncaster

Will be the form team as long as they don’t blow it at the last hurdle, the other 3 whoever they end up being have been a bit hit and miss of late

    Happy St George's Day

Not exactly what I'm suggesting but do think more people than not would be happy to have a day where the best of living in England and the people who live here could be celebrated. From my perspective that is best done at a local level rather than the big set piece King/Marching Guards/Fly past...

Really looking forward to the Euros now

Bit of summer football beats the long nothing break between end of season and the friendlies starting, can't say I'm very excited by England's chances, think we will have our usual safety first tournament and choke at some point

    Happy St George's Day

Surely we should have a day to celebrate our nation? As has been said about other places, you need to separate the country/people from the government and it's actions. I don't actually do much celebrating, mainly as it's not a public holiday and very little different from a normal working day...

    Next seasons realistic aim

I would be very disappointed if Carrick and the senior management team don't have a plan aiming for automatic. You always need a bit of luck to get automatic from this league but they should be building their plans to achieve promotion and the only way to guarantee that is by finishing top 2...

Doesn’t look like it’s going to be a sell out on Monday

What about Boomers and early gen X who were born in Stockton :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: Seriously though most of us in that group wherever we were born always have seen Leeds as probably our biggest game

    Rashford - good or garb?

Clearly not happy or possibly not fully fit this season, at his best he is a very good prem player and good enough to be in the England squad on merit but not a starter if everyone else is playing well

    Leeds Will Get Top 2

if they win tonight. I reckon, looking at the remaining fixtures this is their hardest match left, while Ipswich have 2 tough away games, so let's play our part in messing up their season!

    Fish in a barrel

Sadly most people, even those that don't want to say it, know that 1000s of innocent people have been killed in the last 6 months in Gaza and really don't know what can be said or done at this point. I certainly don't have a clue when our politicians In both the big parties refuse to condemn

    Fish in a barrel

Unfortunately in today's soundbite world it is very easy to clip something and use it for your own political purposes. Sunak is a disgrace jumping on the bandwagon if Mark Rowley has any balls he will call his bluff and demand backing of the decision to stop a breach of the peace.

    Forest tweet

Might be OTT but how’s that “tackle” not given by VAR, only seen the clip so don’t know what the explanation might be

Gateshead prevented from entering National League play-offs.

It because the council won't guarantee their tenure at the ground, which is an utter disgrace

Hundreds of Tickets Available for FA Cup Semi

Chelsea didn't go on general sale did they?

Hundreds of Tickets Available for FA Cup Semi

There's a lot less for Cov and they are much more expensive but still some going

Sunak threatens to take away rights of doctors to write sick notes

Outside of the medical, there is almost a complete lack of jobs / training / education opportunities for people to see a route out of difficult circumstances, whilst they see the government looking after their friend, this drives depression and other related mental health issues
