    Best Riverside era XI but…

If every team in this league could name their best 11 from the Premier league era, the only ones that would come close to us would be Leicester and Blackburn, both having won the league. I dont know if thats a good thing or a really bad thing.

    Lukas Engel

I agree Engel isn't fast and Borges is a much better player. Technically, reading of the game etc but I can't put into words how slow he is and how easy it is to totally expose him at left back.

Will he target any Luton players?

Just watched an interview with Elanga and he said he best friend in football is Mengi. Maybe he wouldn't be against a move out of league one close to his best mate.

    Chelski v PSG

Not as ridiculous as the Premier league new substitute interview feature we've got to look forward to.

Callum Brittain up for a three way

Its clearly a policy. It was documented that we had been after Conway for years and we waited until he had a year left on his contract and then moved. The idea is if he was on a 4 year contract he would be worth more, last year of the contract the value decreases so as soon as you buy them...

Callum Brittain up for a three way

This can't be true. No one wants to sign for us now that we're a middle of the league team without Michael Carrick in charge, being the only reason anyone wanted to sign for us before. Kieran Scott is as big of not bigger pull than Carrick ever was. We are a big team in this league. We will...

    Lukas Engel

He's a much better left back than Borges due to Borges horrendous lack of pace.

    Mark Travers

He's probably the best keeper we've had since Schwarzer, arguably. However if we'd signed him permanently, it would have been a terrible transfer, up with the likes of Britt etc. A good keeper in this league costs £2-3 million at the very most unless you have parachute payments.

    No signings

Last season the league was poor but im not sure its going to be much better this season. Norwich making some signings, losing some big players so may be up there. Birmingham I can see pushing playoffs l, Wrexham however, have a poor squad. Hardie is a good signing and they are being mentioned...

    Aaron Connolly

He pretty much retired at 32 barely playing after "playing" for us because he wasn't good enough for professional football. Ihenacho, Wright etc all had good spells at a high level. Kike Sola is our Ali Dia.

    Aaron Connolly

Gestede isn't even close to the worse player we've seen. Who is the worst player of the Riverside era? Possibly Kike Sola?

    Attack of the Loans!

Apologies, I misunderstood what you were saying.

    Attack of the Loans!

I'd be surprised if Gilbert is on £5k per week, nevermind £15k.

    Hackney allegedly going to Forest

He will be in the or on the verge of the England squad for the world cup.

Palmer twins to Man City 6M

The fans may have seen it as a scramble for points. The players and manager didn't show that one bit. We scored 3 goals in the last 6 games.

But two, get one free - Hackney, VDB for Palace?

There's an argument that to get out of this division or compete around the playoffs as a non parachute payments team, the best thing to do is sell your best player. It all comes down to recruitment of course but Coventry have improved by selling Gykoreres and Hamer, Brentford consistently...

But two, get one free - Hackney, VDB for Palace?

The contracts of Britt, Fletcher and Gestede hamgstrung the club for years. It was clear to see as soon as those contracts ended we have spent money willingly with the clear idea of buying players at a value with potential to sell them at an increased value. The Premier league money went on...

But two, get one free - Hackney, VDB for Palace?

MIillwall broke their transfer record of £3.5 million bringing in Coburn. We spent £3.5 million on a project in Hamilton. Morris, Conway, Latte Lath, Hamilton, Whittaker... 5 players in the last two years costing more than their record signing.

    Smell of...(promotion, relegation, desperation, aspiration...)

Its not against the odds promotion when we are one of the favourites and will probably get lower odds when we bring it a few players. There needs to be another category on thr poll.

    Dimi.

I still find it crazy he just walked away before the end of the season and never came back. Never officially retired just stopped playing. Bizarre situation but shows how committed he was to us.
