    Rangers tickets- slowly but surely

Time flies! As posted on thr Board a few days ago - Darlo in the Smac days we would have 20 to 25% of the away stadium, but can't remember more than 3k Boro for a FRIENDLY away.

Dom Shaw and Scott Wilson - on the Edwards Appointment

At games I always fully support my team - it is painful at times like at the end of the Norwich game. I didn't boo and was trying to gee up the players, despite the recent poor results. It was actually a good test of fans resillence. Most left right on the final whistle that day, when normally...

Conway and Coburn....Quinn and Philips Mk2

Both players are developing and I like both of them. How they play with each other will be interesting, but it is worth trying.

    Rangers tickets- slowly but surely

My guess is around 6,000 have been sold so far. I would expecting much less than that for a friendly along way from Teesside.

Dom Shaw and Scott Wilson - on the Edwards Appointment

That one quoted VAN, was on the Gazette (I believe) recent analysis of him it was highlighted by them not me. To me It is important how manager react and what they say after difficult results and runs. I sincerely hope Edwards has fully reflected back on those times and learnt, and in the...

I hope the camera man is not a Boro fan - I would not like to think a phone with footage from this film has been used on turnstiles I use!

RW's interview as Luton manager "We let down our fans today, especially those dedicated fans that made the 44 mile round trip. Myself and the players and coaches will identifty and address the mistakes of today, so there is never a repeat performance. I want a reaction from the players who I...

The Kermode and Mayo review is accurate - lots of action and weird. Its a sort of escapism from our relatively mundane world. I caught write about igt much because is will spoil it, but there is quite a family theme and coomunity theme that there was not in 28 days later. Do watch.

    Rangers heading for a sell-out?

About 3,000 at Darlo one year is the highest I can remember. I now fancy going just for the experience and I live over 340 miles away.

    Walkabout, Glasgow

Can Walkabout serve 2,000 Boro fans? its will involve alot of walking! Truly unbelievable Boro support btw I have said that a lot in recent years on here, but to me if we have 6,000 for a friendly in Scotland after a poor season and a dodgy looking managerial appointment it almost brings a...

Dom Shaw and Scott Wilson - on the Edwards Appointment

This is a quote oi the Gazette from Edwards after Luton lost 5-1 at Boro in November. "I obviously feel quite numb, it's a horrible, horrible day for us, one of those days when you want the ground to swallow you up,’’ he reflected. I thought for the first 30 odd minutes we were playing really...

    Rangers heading for a sell-out?

Yes , I agree hence the point about Union Jacks at Rangers - The Unionist/NI issue or element has quite an influence. Irish element - probably even stronger at Celtic. The migration of the 1850s to Glasgow by Irish people seems to have a very big legacy today. One of the glamour clubs from...

Dom Shaw and Scott Wilson - on the Edwards Appointment

I didn't feel the discussion was completely balanced. It felt like they wanted to counteract what fans were saying on line. Many of us have been heavily following the Boro well before they were born. I am not saying fans online know more, but it is significant. A fair comparsion to me is to...

    Rangers heading for a sell-out?

I notice Rangers flags are often the Union Jack opposed to the St Andrews saltaire Scottish flag or the Rampant Red Lion on Yellow. Don't they sing God save the King and Rule Britannia. Compare that with say Hearts who use quite different symbols and songs.

Danny Boyle knows some great N/E film locations - Bleakness does not need to be added in places. Poor South Bank could be a complete film set for somewhere untouched by humans for the last 30 years

    Rangers heading for a sell-out?

I think it wil be OK as long as Boro fans keep to supporting their own team. Rangers fans tend not to be as Nationalistic (Scottish) as the average Scot and some come from the loyalist community of NI, not even Scottish.
