I think it’s too early to say with Iheanacho. He’s obviously not match fit, another couple of games before he’ll sharpen up. There were plenty on here who’d written Latte Lath off after his first game!

When you consider our lack of success our attendances are excellent. The numbers we attract are nothing to be sneezed at. If we’d been more successful you could probably stick another 5-6000 on our average. We are unique, a cracking club with real potential if we got it right.

That’s one of the reasons I think the play offs should be scrapped. If the top 3 went up and it looked like we’re staying in the championship, once promotion becomes mathematically impossible we could give youth players the opportunity to play. The benefits would be tremendous.
