    Sunderland equality shirt

I've got no problems with the idea behind the shirt as it's made for a good reason so good on Sunderland for making it. However, let's not pretend that everyone will agree that it's a great shirt and anyone who doesn't is being homophobic. It's not my cup of tea. There's too much of the colour...

    Favourite Tees/Wear memories

I know you said you'd prefer home ones - but the first Sunderland ones that come to mind are the Emerson thunderbolts. My home memories are tarnished by that win at the Riverside when they atrocious in the PL era so that's always what comes to mind first. Was it Tommy Miller scoring after 90...

    Porto bid for Hayden Hackney

It also feels a tight offer when they are holding Man City to pay the £60m release clause to sell their player which will have to be paid upfront and in one go.

    Porto bid for Hayden Hackney

Might be if it wasn't transfer deadline day and we weren't already a midfielder short. You'd think it would take an offer a fair bit above what the club value him at to get the deal done today.

Champions League & Europa League Playoff Draw

It might be but City were playing Bayern or Real. I wouldn't say there is that much of a drop in quality between the two sides. Real could've got Celtic instead but pulled out City which is a massive difference in quality if Man City turn up more like their old selves. So whilst Real will fancy...

Champions League & Europa League Playoff Draw

Surely it's unlucky Real Madrid? Man City could've got Real or Bayern. Real were playing either Celtic or Man City. Man City were getting a tough game either way. Real could've had a potentially much easier game.

How many of you are still in bed with Musk and Trump?

A remake of a US government department poster from WW2. I'm not so sure they'll publish this one.

The mystery of the disappearing emojis

I'd imagine the two are linked and by adjusting the code it removed them from both. This is the thread anyway which should really have been a sticky. https://fmttmboro.com/index.php?forums/main-forum.2/page-2

The mystery of the disappearing emojis

They were taken away for a reason as it was causing problems with the board. Rob did say there was a way of still using them and asked for people not to use them.

    Bid accepted for Whittaker

Doesn't mean much when he's only been here 6 months. Can only really comment when he leaves the club. Who knows what he might act like if he'd get an offer to move elsewhere or found himself out of the team for an extended period. He might be fine but a bit early to judge till he's gone.

    Travers, Giles & Whittaker..

Problem is most of the bus companies then go on to Sunderland. Maybe you should wait at the bus station and make sure he gets off at the right stop. If it's after 12am but before 6am you'll have to wait at Stand Z which is front of Brodcasting House.

    Prem or Champ

Agree with the above. It's a miserable time being in the PL for most promoted sides but the whole point in sport is trying to be the best. No point taking part if you aren't trying to be the best you can be.

    Sean Dyche to West Brom

Might have to at some point with foreign managers being seen as more glamerous than his style of football. Not sure he'd jump back into this job though when he will have a lot of constraints at West Brom. Seem to have money issues with their owners. If he'd been out of work for a while I could...

Atlanta United in for Latte Lath?

In Crooks case that is perhaps a bit different as he's English and never moved abroad before. Maybe found he missed his family too much. Lath being from Ivory Coast and has already played in several countries - he's proved he can adapt to different cultures and countries so might be less of an...

Atlanta United in for Latte Lath?

The difference is people don't view Crooks as someone who could play at a higher level. People think Latte Lath can. They are different stages in their career. A PL side would beat pretty much any MLS side for wages. They aren't giving him Messi style wages. And the not in the top league right...

Atlanta United in for Latte Lath?

It is if you want to play in a top league. Career progression would be a backwards step moving to the MLS. Outside of the top tier leagues - the Championship is as good as any as a shop window. The MLS only really works for someone wanting to get a move to Europe at a young age. Or an...

Atlanta United in for Latte Lath?

It certainly is. It's improving but it's still nowhere near a top league. Theres a few star players but most rosters are still filled with players that wouldn't look out of place in the lower end of the Championship and top of League One. A few select players get paid well but most still aren't...
