    Anyone doing dry January?

I think it's a positive, it's good to hear if people can manage their intake without going too far with it 😊 that's also an achievement in my eyes!

    Anyone doing dry January?

Yeah but if your drinking is centred around events and stuff thats more healthy and not really a problem, so you seem in good control of it 😊

    Anyone doing dry January?

Thanks for the support everyone. I'm having a bit of trouble getting to sleep at a normal time (I am on longterm leave from work due to injury) so bedtime has been anywhere from 3-6 am, but so far no temptation to have a drink. Noticed my face looks less puffy as before I had alcohol bloat every...

    Anyone doing dry January?

Fair play for the comedy sketch, i did title the post about "dry january" but it was more about recovering from crippling alcoholism and seeing if others had been through the same thing 😊 Didnt want it to seem like an AA introduction in the thread title is all

    Hoppe released

Also Marvin wasn't THAT bad, he wasn't spectacular but we got a lot of appearances out of him. He's more 'meh' than failure, for me

    Anyone doing dry January?

Thanks LF 👍🏻👍🏻- I did go cold turkey but mostly symptomless apart from insomnia, vivid dreams and peeing a lot. I've made it a week so I think the risk of serious physical symptoms is past... I'm in constant contact with the folks on the AA discord who are monitoring my progress and goving sound...

    Anyone doing dry January?

I've not put a time limit on it cause I know if I do I'll just end up going back to damaging levels. Just doing one day at a time for as long as I possibly can
