I've never like them except for the song Writing to Reach You. I checked out the new album after it was recommended in the new music thread, must have been by you as I can't imagine 2 people liking it!
No idea about other seasons and how many points were required mate, I don't really pay attention to the league table but I studied it for a while last night for the first time in ages. From what I've seen on ability alone in other seasons there would not be three worse teams than Burnley is all...
"Those preaching about anxiety"
Nobody says it's not a board for adults but that doesn't mean it's ok to post unsubstantial rumours about things that could have serious impacts on peoples lives. Well done on changing the name though, that's much better. As for preaching about anxiety, nobody is...
That's what I mean, if it wasn't for the bottom three being so poor this year they'd be down as 10 goals by this stage is just not acceptable. Newcastle are dreadful and will be 10 games without a win this weekend. Not having a go at you as it's just football but you claim to hate the spectacle...
Being level with Newcastle is hardly something to give credit for! Burnley have scored 10 goals all season, that is abysmal by any teams standards in any league. They'll stay up easily because the bottom 3 is so bad this year not because they are any good.
Think the OP should delete this. It’s evident from the replies that this causes great anxiety and to post sourceless sh*t like this and passing it on as almost fact is not on. Have a word with yourself OP.
Yes Almiron is almost as bad a signing as Joelinton, he looks a better footballer than Joelinton and has a few nice touches but his goal return is pitiful.
His 40 million makes the 12 for Alves look like peanuts. It's also clear why we were interested in Alves in the first place, but as someone has mentioned in this thread Joelinton had no goalscoring pedigree anywhere whatsoever and no international caps. Truly bizarre signing.
You might have seen more of them than me but from the little I’ve seen I’d say Callum Wilson is their only good player.
They’d never finish top half even with the best manager in the world.
Newcastle in general have a terrible squad. Watching them against Sheff Utd the only difference between quite a lot of them and good League Two level players is pure luck, having a great game when the right scout was there or whatever. That could be applied to at least 6 or 7 of their starters.
