Borges is looking strong. Loads of space there to explore but it seems a tactic to ignore him.
Playing some lovely stuff in 4/5's of the pitch...looks ominous in typical Boro style
We are looking very toothless.
Hamilton reminds me of Emnes. Tidy but no cutting edge.
Clarke is head and shoulders our best player. Looks a step above the rest, man amongst boys.
Teams will let us play pretty football if they control the score line.
I would love for Carrick to actually speak out, and say he is one of my players and I back him.
You can tell Coburn is a confidence led player, Carrick could push him to the next level.
One of our top 3 most important players. You can see now what happened at Birmingham. A man mountain, calm and a great pass in addition to being a complete wall!
What a dynamic player. Will be a fan's favourite, breaks so much up, huge engine and can play a smart forward pass. A real scouting find. Our scouting has completely changed, for the better.
Bless him, he looked like he was going to weep after that question. Such big heart and would run through brick walls for Boro.
He loves the Boro so much, I wouldnt want us to sell him, loan only or keep him in the squad.
May be an unpopular opinion but on that showing Gilbert looks like an inferior player to say Patrick Roberts. I would loan him out to another championship team to see if he can shine. He looked a limited player, I can see why he hadn't been given a chance until late in the season, although tried...
Lath & Jones are starters.
Burgzorg not proven at this level, could be the next Ameobi or Mendez Lang (could also be good). Forss always injured.
But I'm talking about No. 10's.
Azaz & McGee inconsistent and slow.
Plus Gilbert, Corburn, Finch & Hamilton don't really have any first team...
We need some real quality in the final third to go up this year. A conventional left back, even a great one, will only have a limited impact on our points tally. We have lots of options but maybe too many average ones, for me Azaz and McGree aren't starters at No.10 for a top champ team.
Any...
On today's performance he was one of our better performers. Looked solid and good going forward. Everyone played well generally, barring Azaz and McGree who were below par, just tactics went wrong and Jones showed why he doesn't play in the prem with his decision making (3 glorious chances wasted).
