    Most Important Bands of AT

I heard a quote about the Beastie boys (think it was from ll cool j). 'Run DMC brought rap to the edge of suburbia, Beasties drove it right into the centre of town'.

Bands you heard of, never listened to, then blew your mind when you did

Love Rival Sons yet I've never known another human who knows or likes them. Me and my mates go to quite a few gigs and they've never heard of them. My Mrs was going to see Linkin Park with her friends in Manchester. I had nowt on so had a look what other gigs and randomly went to see a band...

    Inside the Force 24/7.

I saw some footage on twitter/x of someone being assaulted in Milan. There were loads of comments from Americans saying 'and that's why you need guns' implying it's stops such behaviour and expressed shock at the violence. Lunatics.

Jones - new 3 year contract

I get what you say in terms of his ability to strike a ball but he showed in the Fulham game that he doesn't need to cut in (it's not like his delivery is good from the right) but also he does regularly come inside from the right so I'm not that sure that stands up. He's quite unconventional our...

    Inside the Force 24/7.

That one should have been earlier in the series from what I heard but due to the sensitive nature/prosecution etc had to be delayed. We all need to be aware of how dangerous teesside is. We are top of all the wrong league tables, crime, murder, alcoholism drugs. The recent gazette reporting of...

Jones - new 3 year contract

The thing is most of Clarke's games have come without Hackney in the team who is key to us playing out from the back and must make things a lot easier than when it's O'Brien and Barlasar. Clarke is very brave on the ball but as he's a bit 'Robbie Mustoe' (ungainly) and gives the impression he's...

Jones - new 3 year contract

I was told a while ago £15000 per week was our ceiling. There's players pre that structure like Howson and Paddy on more but players since 15. I your head for a high level footballer you think that's low but it's 60k per month, that's mind blowing, that's 2 years wages for me and I'm...

Jones - new 3 year contract

It's a strange one that he never plays on the left under Carrick especially as he likes Forrs on the right. I remember his debut was on the left opening game at Fulham a few seasons ago and he was a game changer and also remember him playing left wing back away at Coventry where he did well...

    Very memorable bass lines

If someone had said Jamiroquai I would have been surprised until I watched this a few weeks ago

    Passing out from the back

Risk obviously increases when you don't have your best players on the pitch. While we've had our struggles at times we've done really well considering our injuries this season and when you look at how the top teams are trying to throw it away you can't help wonder what could have been if we'd...

    Passing out from the back

Most definitely a (y), but we have to realise with injuries and poorer players in the team (or players who lack that particular ability) that we can't do it all of the time or even every game. Carrick knows that hence why we saw more pragmatic approaches in games such as Leicester, however...

    Playing out from the back

I think at the time when watching it on tv O'Brien seemed to be open to receiving the ball but either Dieng didn't deliver it with enough pace or he didn't really want it and was on his heels or both. I think a good leader at that point should be aware that tactically Hull have changed things...

    Playing out from the back

Just watched the inside the match day from Hull. Notice anything about our first goal? Dieng plays pretty much the same ball to O'brien that he does for Hull's 2nd goal. O'Brien wants it, plays it to Clarke, Engel, Lath goal. Hull's second O'Brien shows for it but doesn't make it his and...

Isaiah Jones — stick or flog?

He's an essential player for us currently but he's nowhere near as effective without Crooks playing close to him.

Michael Carrick post match interview Vs Ipswich

But at other points in the season we were bottom of that league. Possibly twice.

    Maddo constantly criticising Engel

That's an awful argument after the first paragraph. I think Engel's been poor but I'm open minded that he might come good next season. He and Giles are poor defenders but Giles was way ahead in attacking ability and his effect on the team. He was hugely instrumental in our success last season.

    Greenwood and Silvera

I can see why Leeds played Greenwood as a central midfielder. He doesn't have the pace or trickery to play wide, same up front but I've been surprised by his work rate (despite people saying he's lazy) and could see him doing a better job in there. Both him and Silvera have the same problem...

    Maddo constantly criticising Engel

Isn't it Maddo's job to coment on the game. I would suggest if he says he's misplaced a pass then he's not made it up as he would be easily found out with most of us watching.
