    Masks Again

Well said. It's such a simple concept I can't understand why anti maskers can't grasp it. Some of them seem to deal in absolutes. As in, not wearing a mask you definitely spread covid, wearing a mask you definitely don't. It's simply a way of reducing the spread NOT stopping it. Like social...

    Masks Again

Are you sure about this? Also what if you look across the world? I'd dare say that Asian countries that enforce lockdowns and are regular mask wearers are doing the best of all

Do our mobile phones listen to us?

It is indeed. Same as the end user licencing agreements which are pages and pages and pages long and no one ever reads what they are signing up for

    Masks Again

You do realise you can be exempt from an activity but still partake in that activity? Exemption isn't exclusion. I thought this had been made clear but masks help slow down the spread of the virus, I think they do little to protect the wearer. So, yes, people who are exempt from wearing masks...

The 9am figures not disclosed yet?

Yeah thats what I was thinking. The 7 day average is rising but slowly which would suggest the r rate is around 1? I'm just waiting for thenweek when we can see it go down (obviously, and sadly, desths will track quite a few weeks behind)

Wales Back in Full Lockdown From Friday

I wouldn't take that bet. It's BOUND to be extended. I still believe the "circuit breaker" fortnight long lockdown might have had some effect, about 4 weeks ago. Seems pointless now, the virus is so prevalent it'll just kick the can down the road now.

Do our mobile phones listen to us?

The totally listen to you. I sometimes use a blackberry key2 phone. It has a security app that tells you how often other app access your phones hardware. you'd be amazed at the amount of times the facebook app accesses your microphone and sms

Quick pulse check on flying and abroad holidays

Travelling abroad wasn't an issue for me last month. That being said we drove to France rather than flying. Easier to socially distance on the euro tunnel. I'm not sure how I would feel about flying but I have itchy feet so would probably want to fly somewhere sooner rather than later

    Honda Pull Out of F1

Randy is right I think Hamilton will leave soon. Once Toto goes, and with the head off Merc HPP already off it'll be a changing of the guard and hard to see how they can keep their current high standards. There a few manufacturers out there who probably could develop an F1 engine: BMW...

The Ignore button - I really like this now

No you can't. leads to some confusion sometimes as it look like someone is replying to the message above it but is actually quoting a message. You can't even tell that the person replying is quoting anyone

The Ignore button - I really like this now

I'm really glad I finally read this. I thought it was just me with HundredRoom. I always found him nasty, vindictive and spiteful. However I just assumed he was one of the guys who doesn't take to my personality. It makes me feel a little bit better knowing he's like this with other people too...

Cases and deaths down for a few days now...

No it wasn't it was reviewed every 3 weeks. As Italy Spain and France were showing us at the time it was always going to be a long haul.

Cases and deaths down for a few days now...

Sadly I think we are too late. When Sage recommended it it probably would have made a significant difference. My fear is the virus is now sp well spread, I small lockdown will just give us a pause before it flares up again. Although it should help ease our over burdened ICU beds

Well There We Have It, The Easy 'Oven Ready Deal' that Never Was...

Exactly this. Even Brexiteers can see what a cluster flock brexit is going to be, To embarrassed or vane to admit they were wrong, they now have to blame others

Cases and deaths down for a few days now...

Erm, no, what I'm saying is restrictions have been put in place in these cities and the cases have dropped. So that would suggest the restrictions worked

Don't know about Sheffield but you do realise all the other cities on your list are under restrictions. Probably accounts for the drop
