Pitch Invaders

Morons everywhere tonight. A poor bloke got headbutted by a cowardly daft c*nt on the way out. His wife was trying to drive out of the car park and weather her fault or theirs started banging the car and giving grief so he got out and the lad butted him and broke his nose.

When I went over the and split it up the lads mate/dad grabs the bloke who could barely stand up and tells him not to lay his hands on him.

His face was smashed in and I don't think in his normal state he was someone who could or would have been able to do something. Cowardly bast Ards.

Then witnessed a lad kick the back of a volvo for no reason just before the train crossing, and they wonder why people get out of their cars.

These people are fellow Boro fans you f#ck ing idiots who probably won't come again.

The referee will put it in the report and the club will be fined. Personally thought they were hammered by all sections of the ground - South Stand most vocal in the Wan**** chant. My issue was they were able to do a whole lap of the pitch and got close to players, away fans and the tunnel. Stewards were way too slow off the mark and police all at the south stand end of the ground and scrambled to get down to the north. They could have cost us more than a fine if Brum scored in the added time. Either drunk or off their face but hopefully they will never darken the door of the stadium again.

There was a lad getting aggressive with an old guy at the counter of the food bar in the North Stand too. For no reason at all. Proper radgies out tonight

The club need to make this the punishment from now on. I can guarantee you'll never get another pitch invader at the Riverside again.
I’m fairly sure they did this for an invader last season and clearly there are still people trying.

Also noticed a guy in a heated debate with a steward in the north stand at the end of the match

Looked about 13/14 year old? Very much doubt they were drunk or off their face.

Stewards in south stand near the segregation bit were useless too…

loads of people stood in sears that others had tickets for so those with the tickets stood in the empty seats in the segregation…

instead of getting in the crowd to move those without the correct ticket, they moved those with the right tickets,…

How on EARTH they managed to run the full perimeter of the pitch unchallenged is beyond me.
Stewards not interested in challenging them other than the two that actually did as they headed back to the north stand.
My 6 year old boy said it best when they got wrestled to the ground (eventually).... "idiots".

Fair enough, thought they looked younger but admittedly wasn’t as close to them as others were. Still, glad they didn’t manage to get back in the stands and hopefully bans coming their way

Bunch of lads sat near me tonight brought about 4 pints back to their seats throughout the match, and there were pitch invaders, so can't even say focusing on one to stop the other.

Agreed , the club can’t have it both ways, they can’t downscale the police, to reduce costs but then pay stewards minimum wage to do a police job, they need to decide how to police the inside of the ground, a player could end up getting seriously injured, if there was an individual so minded because let’s be honest, there are no searches anymore, not where I sit, in fact no stewards outside anywhere near the turnstiles, very small time.

I find it unacceptable not being able to sit in your own paid-for seat in order to benefit some intruding classless low-life. If the stewards are not attending to this sort of thing, WTF are they there for?
