What do we think after a week? I am really surprised at how good it is and much prefer the new look career mode!

Still got the same over poweree mechanics to score on ultimate team that does my head in. Maybe i should just play the career mode

really enjoying. maybe my only criticism at this point is it's a little easier than previous versions? i'm playing as boro on legendary and only lost one so far and took fulham to pens in the league cup.

I've only just got round to playing it despite buying it on Friday night... life eh!
It's hard to say if its better or worse as I hardly played 22, I haven't played any online games yet, just squad battles in FUT. Scored a free kick with Paul Pogba in my first game mind, that never happens for me.
Is career mode actually worth playing? I always thought it was either ridiculously easy or too bloody hard, no in-between.

I played a lot of Fifa 22, like a lot. I think I was on my 8th boro season when i stopped last month. never really got into the FUT side of things. Had a couple of goes but feels like it's more for the young'uns. I'd say give the career a go in 23, you might be pleasantly surprised.

Setting up the training for every new manager career is annoying but i'm enjoying the gameplay in PS5 like. Good to see they've kept gameplay as it is after the 1st patch.

never even used it to be honest. just play it as normal. currently third with boro after 12 games on legendary level. lost 3 (watford, hull, stoke). haven't made any signings but there's 12m (no outgoings, it's what you start with at boro) in the pot if i need it in january window.

I’ve just encountered a few of these in one game, and I’m not a fan.
It feels like something out of FIFA Street or something like Mario Soccer…
Really takes you away from what they try to make a realistic experience.

That’s and the no of non official sides in the World Cup this year as well. But I guess we’ll know once the World Cup add on comes out.

To be fair all of them went well wide, think it was just people desperate to score one. Seems like a pointless addition.
I’m really enjoying the pace of this year’s game though, feels like it’s more about passing and build up than just pure pace.

pretty good with the new kits (especially the away!), riverside looks the same as it has done since it was brought in a few years back.

I'm really enjoying FUT this year, normally I get bored of other teams having ridiculous cards as I don't really bother with all that, I just like putting teams together and trying to do the objectives.
But I'm enjoying a fair bit of success with a formation I've put together and defending very well, build up play is class and the crossing is the best it's ever been.

Started playing Red dead 2, does it get any better? I’ve played around an hour and finding it extremely boring! Maybe it’s just not for me or should I persevere?

Def worth persevering with as the map really opens up and Saint Denis is stunning.
But it is a big playing area and the era ( ie on horses) can lead to dull journeys but then it can all change in a second.
It’s a stunning game snd has tremendous depth ( the animal hunting fishing crafting etc is a game in itself) but it goes reward time invested in it.
The more you put in the more you get out it’s a stark contrast to the all action of thrills and spills of GTA.
