Lee Tomlin retires

Decent career. The majority probably lower than his talent required. An absolute joy to watch 'when on it'.

He was very much a vital part of the playoff final season under AK. A superb link up with Bamford. I'd argue his career went down the pan from the Bournemouth move onwards.

I remember watching him against Boro for Peterborough and thinking 'sign him' (along with Gayle). So when we did a few years later I was happy.

A proper match winner. Just a moment of magic from northing. We don't have one like that in our current squad.

Obviously had his issue/demons but a ridiculously talented player. Some great memories from 14/15 season (except the play off final)

If he'd been born 10 or 15 yrs earlier he'd have been a top flight player for the vast majority of his career.

Or if he'd dedicated himself to his fitness and lifestyle then he would have been a top player in his own era.

Brilliant footballer, bet he is awesome at 5 a side or he'll he a world class masters player for years to come.

I thought he was getting his game for Donny alongside Clayton this season. Didn’t he get a silly red.

Quality player but fitness and consistently stopped him playing at highest level.
