Wilder post match

Nothing in it between the sides.
Porr decision making from the players.
Did you watch the game, that statement was true, we wernt great but coventry are where they are cause they are aas bad as us, just they took there chance when it came, we never.

I am not saying we where good far from it but if Dijksteel runs with his man he doesnt score, fine margins, player error again but I wouldnt be dropping Dijksteel as I think he is a good player.

We still had chances, Muniz made one for himself then should of scored the volley, Crooks should of scored when giles rolled it across the box, Akpom had a chance and should of done better, crooks should of done better at the end of the game for a tap inn for muniz and giles should of broke the bet instead of squaring!

Performance was way short of anything good however we had plenty of chances to get something from the game.

What exactly do ypu want the club to do, get rid of wilder ?

Bring in who?

And of the players continue underperforming, then get rid and bring in who?

We did have the money to buy Gyokeres.
We had £22.5m profit from the sale of Spence and Tavernier. The club was supposedly going to spend more in any case.
The club could have got Gyokeres, they chose not to.
Scott, Bausor and Gibson won't be pushed around on fees.
But their stupidity will push us into league one.

It comes down to trust. I don't trust Gibson and his gang of fools.
We are running on losses so it is not as easy as saying we brought in 22m so we should spend 22m, how much did we actually get upfront, how much is in instalements?

We have financial fair play to think about we still brought in 12 players but for me didnt address the key area and that was quality, speed and ability in CM which we lack so much of and is the reason why we are losing games IMO, we never control a game every team over runs us in the middle.

For me even though he wont change formation, 352 doesnt suit us, he should go ultra defensive to stop us conceding goals by playing 451 we dont have the midfielders to play as a 2 or a 3.

The "odious" people seem to be so-called "fans" and know-it-alls who have a skill spouting venom and nonsense.
I doubt some have actually seen the interview, let alone understood what he was saying.
Pathetic.
Back to square one if some get their way.
Ridiculous.

And forgot to mention Frys header which he should of buried, we had enough chances again ti get something from the game!

We don’t feel further forward than where we were last year with Warnock or the season before with Woodgate.

They quoted £25m, we didnt have the money. We cant just keep spending money we dont have, the books have to be balanced somewhere

I think this is our problem too. We just don't have the midfield to play how Wilder wants to play. I think 4-2-3-1 would work well with the players available.

Good managers don't become bad overnight. Its down to the running of the club which is having a negative impact on everyone.
Is he a good manager? He had undoubted success with Sheffield Utd, but was that a one off?

His man management is poor, his management upwards to Gibson is terrible and his PR is atrocious. He has zero flexibility tactically, he evidently doesn't see his role as being to improve players - he wants finished articles only.

I am gutted at how this is turning out - like the majority of fans I really thought we had found the perfect fit for us.

Didn't listen, but seems to have been Dijksteel.
Really can’t understand that as goal came from a long ball down our left hand side, keeper should have saved it too. However, we created next to nothing against the bottom of the league team. Have backed Wilder up to now, but players aren’t playing for him. Agree the fundamental problems with the club run much deeper than Wilder, but am afraid that problems going nowhere soon so we need to get someone in to keep us up and make the best of what we have. Wonder what El Tel is up to😂

We have more "wriggle room" on the financial front.
Warnock saw the end of expensive players like Friend and Ayala.
He also brought in players on short term contracts.
Lets not forget Bolasie and Neeskins - both expensive players in terms of wages.
Warnock left little for the future.
He was just a fire-fighter.
we have better players and something in the tank for the future.
The elephant is still in the room.
Until that issue is resolved - nothing will change.
Its worth considering whether Scott`s appointment was a financial one or a genuine football one - eyeing talent and building stock for the now and the future.
My thoughts are that it was a financial decision - from the same people who sanctioned expensive average player incomings.
Wilder is between a rock and a hard place.
I believe he has integrity and honesty and will only go if he`s told to.

Do you mean Scott is looking for future talent or something else?

Clarke is a waste of space wilder player that he keeps playing as he brought him in we have better players in the under 21s that he wont play but a new manager will & the results will start coming.

Do you mean Scott is looking for future talent or something else?
The question was about the nature of Scotts appointment by Bausor and Gibson: was his appointment a financial one (?). ie. to reduce costs , or one to oversee the acquisition of talent and stock for the now and tomorrow?
Looking at the results pre-Wilder, I cant see any progress or evidence that he was overseeing quality incomings.

Totally disagree we created nothing...!

Muniz half chance he made
Muniz volley should of scored
Fry header should of scored
Giles ball across face of goal, crroks should of scored to late to react.
Giles should of buried his chance instead of squaring behind Akpom, he was running onto it.
Akpom chance
Crooks should of one better and squared the ball with last attack of the game virtually.

Where as coventry chances

Palmer 3 minutes in should of scored.
Dijksteel tries to play offside on the half way line got in wrong Gyokeres scores, 2 chances ...?
