Glad the commentators had stopped talking so we can here the sounds they all made

It all looks stunning

Although despite serving 23 years in the Navy....I'm glad I ain't part of it.

Officially the world's worst marcher and I'd definitely get out of step. I can only imagine how much training and hours they've put in over the last week.

Thankfully the BBC commentator has said he'll shut up during the parade. I thought he was contractually obliged to ramble on about trivia continuously

Didnt know the tradition of navy ranks pulling the gun carriage started when the horses for Queen Victoria's cortege played up and were replaced. The navy have been on that duty ever since

Its an incredible sight.

Hard not to be moved by the sights and sounds as the gun carriage was pulled to Westminster Abbey accompanied by the pipes and drums and Big Ben ringing out once a minute.

Pipes and drums have always been the thing that stood out for me… truly beautiful but haunting at the same time when you look at what it used to signify.

Can you imagine facing an army with those playing at you first?

Had my name down to do OP Bridge for ages. I left the RN and theres been two royal funerals...chance missed.
Would have been my absolute honour to be involved in this.
