Mad dog was absolutely nails. Was serving a 6 month ban when we signed him for breaking someone's leg. Played games with broken cheekbones, cuts everywhere. And he tried to crack onto my Mrs in The Keys, I was not gonna stop him!!!!
Poggy was just a kitten. I was once sat in his seat and he never asked me to move. He sat besides me and offered me a piece of his KitKat. 😜

I voted Souey but it’s a close run thing this and would be a cracking season of The Ultimate Fighter:

Ugo: Pure muscle. Does what he has to do. Perhaps too much of a nice guy, Anthony Joshua type - physically dominant, but would read you a book in your hospital bed afterwards.

Mad Dog: Got that crazy ‘just bleed’ energy. Unpredictable. Would be like the Undertaker, unkillable. Imagine he’d get stronger the more hurt he gets. Already has a few plates in his skull, which is a vulnerability. Drives a Mini and no-one’s going to bully him about it.

Souness: Cold eyes. Lives for violence. Begbie type, wandering the Clyde at night chucking pint glasses off the balconies of posh bars just to find someone who’s jaw to rearrange. Would have happily fought Kieron Dyer and Lee Bowyer - at the same time, in public - when he was, like, 50. And their boss.

Festa: Ninja, passionate.

I’ll add to the mix:

Bolo Zenden: Certified martial arts black belt. All technique, comes from the Cruyff school of total fighting. Hair a problem if it ends up in the street.

Grant Leadbitter: Never taken a backwards step.

Festa for me, power, size and technique.....but........I reckon Brian Deane was a monster and would eat him for breakfast

Chris Kamara, Hard man.

he was a tough young lad growing up in Park End, could handle himself, the Kamara brothers had a reputation, as they say.

he probably didnt play enough games for us to give him the title

so Souness for me - balls of steel and took no prisoners on a football pitch - Jimmy Case thought he was an 'hard man' at Liverpool - Souness took him to the cleaners at Anfield in the cup - he became a liverpool player not long after.

This is who would win in a fight, not the hardest player on the pitch. Pog would beat Souness all day long, he is twice the size for a start...
No he wouldn’t, Kevin Davies made pogatetz look a a right mug. He was a typical coward hiding behind his team mates doing the hold me back rubbish you often used to see on a night out. He could dish it out but couldn’t take it back.

I'd rather you told him that to his face if you don't mind 🤕
