Respect

You need to show some mettle Rob and put people on the naughty step regardless of their reputation on here.
And that includes your co-moderator.

Respectfully I disagree.

People deal with news like deaths differently. Not everyone who makes a joke is doing it to deliberately upset you.

Personally I think the constant references to "protocol" all afternoon have been a little distasteful. Makes it all seem a bit dehumanising and like people are just revelling in the idea of disruption. I don't want anyone banned for that though. For some people that sort of hyper organisation is reassuring. Give them a break.

Which are the comments that you find upsetting Norman ? - because perhaps Rob or A.N. Other may not find the ones you find distasteful to be upsetting or distasteful to them.

id be surprised to say the least should anyone be genuinely Mourning, that they be spending that time on a football message board.

i s'pose the FMTTM religious church of england types will have been on their knees at the kitchen table saying a few prayers, perhaps an aged bottle of sherry has been cracked and the schooners have been dusted down from inside the glass cabinet in the front room for a family and neighbours wee sup & toast - some loyal & reverent families will be seeking spiritual advice from their vicar, such is their loss.

a football message board dont really enter the equation, or it shouldnt if their grief and sorrow is genuine.

respect.

I’m getting fed up of how this site is run

Happy to make money off this site ‘I need adverts and it’s the a main source of income for me’

But you aren’t around to moderate?

The ads that make you money are encroaching and continually inappropriate.

People often reflect their real grief and sorrow about their own personal bereavements on here so I don't agree.
