He might be thinking about giving up on playing two strikers, as getting two proven strikers who are good enough seems extremely difficult :cry:

The number 10 might just end up like a traditional no 10/ attacking mid who can also drop in, sort of like a 3-1-4-1-1, even harder work for the wide lads that though, can't see him doing that.

The point is Wilder seems to be looking at that like we're short of 5 starting 11 players, it's just a case of figuring out which those are/ where etc.

He seemingly isn't going to give away a 1-11 shirt to someone he doesn't think will be starting anytime soon, if he has his way etc.

It’s interesting he said he’s still after 2 strikers, as he said previously he’s happy to go with 4 strikers this season. Makes me think Watmore could be off

Watmore should be off, he's serviced his purpose been a good servant but not at the level we need to achieve promotion
 
Think it's probably more that some players are happy with their old numbers. We're not seriously going 1-11 are we? But presumably we want to offer "big names" (by our standard) the more prestigious numbers.

10 could be an AM or more likely just Tav's proper replacement. I don't think it's McGree.

11 is sometimes a striker even though traditionally it's a winger. (The other striker could be 10 or 11 tbf).

4 can be a DM

5 can be a left sided centre back.
