What are we all reading right now?

Miss Benson's Beetle by Rachel Joyce. Only just started it but it's laugh-out-loud funny, with occasional twists into real tragedy. Rachel Joyce is a great writer and I'd also recommend by her The Unlikely Pilgrimage Of Harold Fry and The Love Song Of Miss Queenie Hennessey, a double header about the same story, from different perspectives.

Just started The Glass Hotel by Emily St. John Mandel. Just a bit of a random choice from Amazon's Sci-Fi lists. Not sure yet.

Just finished Adrian Tchaikovsky's "Shards of Earth" (on a bit of a Sci-Fi dive) which was excellent, second part of the duology "Eyes of the Void" is out in paperback in October so will have a dibble at that.

Just started "The Dark Forest" by Liu Cixin after a recommendation here. Before that I started listening to Reginald D Hunter's reading of "A Confederacy of Dunces", one of my favourite books. I managed a chapter and a half before I returned it. I wouldn't recommend it.

I love the book, it's very funny. So is it the reading of it..?

It is. Quite awful. They should have paid for an actor to do it. You can hear RDH "reading", if that makes sense.
