Forss Confirmed

Is it though, the colour of the numericals is different, although looking again it could be the lighting.

Probably not the most important thing about his signing though.

He'll be well versed in coming off the bench, ready for Saturday, I have a good feeling about him for some reason.

I wonder how fit he'll currently be, I'm not sure he featured during Brentford's pre-season.

Ok. Go to redcar beach. Get a couple of toy lightsabers. Get some kids to dress as jawas. Have a screen crawl at the beginning

A long time ago at a football club far far away in the north east the evil Garry monk spent 35 million on dodgy centre forwards. Disturbed by the lack of success Steve Gibson turned to kieron Scott to unearth hidden gems from across the galaxy.

Cue man walking towards the Camera in a set of robes, he pulls down his hood to reveal Marcus forss.

"Am I the centre forward you are looking for?"

I mean that's just off the top of my head on a napkin. Boros social media team need to up their game.

They could even tease the next striker signing at the end of that.

End credits scene:

Wilder and Scott observing Forss from a distance.

Wilder: "that boy is our last hope"

Scott: "No.........

  • The 2020/21 season saw Marcus establish himself as a first team regular and after scoring seven goals in 13 games, he was awarded a new five-and-a-half-year contract.
  • He went on to score the decisive in their play-off semi-final win against Bournemouth and ended the season with 10 goals as Brentford won promotion to the Premier League.

I think we should put aside all the drama and speculation regarding who's staying and who's leaving for one minute and take a moment to reflect on our signings so far this summer.

Six new players have come in and we've spent £3m on transfer fees overall (if Forss' reported transfer fee is correct).

We've been extremely shrewd in the transfer market and having the money from the Spence and Tav sales should surely leave us in a position to be able to bring in one of two players for decent fees.
