What’s going on over there?

the white water bit never gets used, there’s a cafe and shop that looks all but boarded up, even though there’s music coming out of it…

the air trail seems abandoned…

there were loads of people down by the river today and it just seem they’re missing a trick here…
 
I was down there a week or 2 back and there plenty of people using the white water bit and the air trail was packed. No idea about the cafe though
 
We go down there quite often. There has been extensive work on the white water course for a couple of months. The Talpore always seems busy. There are quite a few dog walkers, joggers, cyclists and boot camp work outs about. The cafe bit is run down and I don't think it's been open since lockdown.
 
Cafe use to get a bit of business back when the Parkrun ran at tees barrage, shame it couldn’t come back after the lockdowns.
 
Cafe and shop building is in a shocking condition. Such a terrible shame, you just need somewhere down there selling ice creams and coffee.

I'm guessing it varies from town to village to city though?
