2nd Test Eng v NZ

Did anyone see Bairstow's interview after the match? He said that after tea, when they came back out, Stokes said something like "Don't even think about pushing it around for singles" (I think that was the gist) - if anyone saw it and correct that, I'd be interested.

Clearly it worked out.... so I guess it was good captaincy, or possibly a bit reckless?

Maybe there was no alternative. Probably not. Either way, it was brilliant to watch.

Look like a lobster - feel like a frazzled slice of bacon.
What a brilliant day - an what an atmosphere!
Nice work getting a ticket. What a day! (y)(y)

You weren't also there when Stokes did his heroics at Headingly in 2019? - That would be an exciting double!

Great Stuff!
Went down for day 3&4 as my bro in-law's friend decided to stay longer on his holidays abroad. So purchaseed his hotel room and tickets. We had to get back today so missed seeing it unfold but knew their threat was Boult ,see him and the new ball off and we had a chance. Really glad for Bairstow, he 's showed his class before and stepped up when needed. NZ had bowling issues with an injury and an out of form Southee, but overall a well won series. I'd also like to see Crawley given another go in third match, he has so much potential. Well done Nottigham CC for opening the doors for free. We did out bit to help the bar takings at the Radcliff End, so could be a plan for the future!

Stokes said the "talk" at T-time consisted of: "We could either win this or lose it. Lets get on with it"!

Just sent via email from Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club - giving the full details of today`s play.
Bit complicated if you`re using a mobile - but better on laptop or desktop.
