Having a beer in the Stadium.

Would be nice if it wouldn’t end in disaster. Personally I’d ban beer from stadiums all together on a matchday, unfortunately it seems an ever growing number of fans across the country cannot seem to behave themselves after consuming alcohol.

No, not at all.

To many people cannot be trusted to drink sensibly, they'd be up and down, backwards and forwards to the bar/toilets throughout the match.

They'd be spilling it or throwing it about. Unfortunately the sensible people are far outweighed by the knobheads.

The day that drinking is allowed in the viewing area is the day I stop going.

This is pathetically true. There would be aggro and vomit everywhere. What is it about the match that makes grown men drink like daft kids behind the youth club?

I like a beer at some sporting events, sometimes, even at football. I've drank in my seat at world cups and at low level games. I had a couple of pints of IPA at Richmond Kickers last night.
I don't think my enjoyment of Boro matches would be enhanced by being able to drink at my seat, or more accurately by others around me being able to drink.

I’ve found when people get treated like dikcheads.. they act like dikcheads. Make it nice and people will treat it nice.
Lucky you, Ive found there are plenty of people who will act like dikcheads regardless of how they have been treated.

I traveled back from the Peterborough game stinking like a brewery because the idiot in front of me sneaked a beer in and launched it when we scored.
