I’m not here to make up rumours and gain some kind of gratification for it. I’m only relaying what I have been told. I don’t claim to have sources within our club. But I have recently grown close to someone who’s good friends with and works with his brother Sean’s girlfriend. I live up in Newcastle but I’m boro through and through. I’m been told Matty has agreed to sign for us on a season loan. When it will be announced I do not know. It slipped out in a conversation when taking about Sean being out of contract.
 
Thanks for sharing the info marty, he looks a good player matty,certainly a lot better than league 2 where he's currently playing.
A tenacious whole hearted player who chips in with the odd goal.

His loan contract runs out May 31st. His Newcastle contract runs out May 2023

Might be an interesting one, as it would indicate we'll be making changes in the midfield.

Probably selling Tav.
 
I reckon more likely selling Payero and Longstaff to compete with Crooks if any truth in this
 
Can’t see it myself. There’s hundreds of better players available on a free; plus we’ll be spending some money. More likely top level champ players and some from abroad.

I do not confine this sort of behaviour.. but Newcastle need rid of a bunch of lower prem players.. and we need a bunch of upper champ players.

I hope not.. but it’s funny to think about a cash and carry deal to be done with Newcastle. The bulk buy one stop shop!

We need permanent transfers of players we own, not rely on these loans. Loans should only be used to top up the squad as the window closes.
 
Darlow is garbage.. (very average at best) & not what we need, 31 & he's hardly started.. just not good enough & never will be..
