Worst ever away day

What makes it worse is the coked up and ***ed up idiots barely sing once they get in their seats either. They miss the start of the game, miss the last 10 minutes of the first half so they can go to the bar and come back into their seats about 10 minutes late for the second half.

I know alcohol plays a big part in the away day experience but it always used to add to the atmosphere. Now people are that ****ed up it actually spoils the atmosphere.

An away day was always about getting lashed but also supporting your team, now its just about getting lashed and not much else.

Worst away day ever mostly caused by the scummy cokerat 15-20 year olds who thought nothing of bashing my 8 year old about so they could forcibly stand together in the stand. When pulled on it they got sweary and aggressive and didn’t give a toss that he was visibly upset and getting hurt.

A little boys day ruined so they could stand huddled together and take turns going in the middle hidden to do a line.

Absolute SCUM!!! 🤬🤬🤬
Fuc%ing scum bags...each and everyone of the coke head bastar%s...

Am so sorry to hear about this. All seater sell outs mean you are a hostage to fortune where and who you sit with. Feel for you and hope your little 'un wants to return again real soon.

We definitely need to work on eradicating this sort of behaviour from the grounds.

My son is 8, desperate to get to a game at the Riverside which I'm more than happy to take him to. Away games? Bit hesitant on this one. The cokerat problem has been going on for years, remember Bolton during Karankas promotion season, place was crawling with them. Had a bit of a do in the concourse with one, staggered into me nearly spilled my pint. When I remonstrated he got arsey but when he realised his chavvy mates weren't with him sh*t it and f*cked off. Definite problem with a minority of Boro fans, but needs sorting. Like the OP said, spoils a good day out for the decent fans

I took my 8 & 9 year old daughters and we had a great time and thought the fans were amazing.

That being said we were on the front row and were baking in the sun, but the concourse was pretty much a no go area. People (men) don't seem to have any morals or manners anymore. It was a nightmare getting to the toilet and trying to get water from the bar (which closed as I queued) which could have got me thrown out or arrested as a big group of d*ck heads just barged straight in at the front and I lost my rag with them and the stewards came and did f*ck all about it.

They should have a family area in the away end at matches and make it easier for the groups of knobheads to congregate together as well.

Was baffled by the dozens of young lads smoking in the toilets.

Hopefully none of the idiots smashed anything up when we lost, like they did at Barnsley.

Just needs zero tolerance. I had to sack a lass at work after she thought it was a good idea to bring some Colombian marching powder to the staff Christmas night out.

The scrotes need to be named and shamed and face real world consequences. I’m not sure how much appetite clubs have to tackle this issue though.

Are they going for the match though? I had to go for a pee half way through the second half at Bournemouth and many were in there not bothering watching the match.
Same at Coventry, went to the toilet in the second half and the concourse was full of doyles singing and filming themselves.

Take the coke away and they are still ***ed up idiots doing the same things. It's a people thing.

People take drugs, it doesn't make them bad people. The problem is bad people.

I’d take him to Riverside first and then an away game. Try to go to one without a massive allocation first as that might be abit daunting for him. It does get boisterous but my lad has always loved it. We’ve been to 40+ grounds and had no chew but it can happen, like it has to the OP. Sorry to hear your lads day was spoiled
