According to reports , Derby administrators are charging over 2 million and counting and they now owe 36 million tax . Could,nt happen to a nicer club .

I had read the bill for the administrators including legal expenses was expected to be 2.75mil based on the sale going through in Jan. By the end of the season it’s likely to be over 4.

Gibson distracted, Wilder thought he could take advantage, gosh it is all soooooo obvious now 🤣

I cannot believe with everything that Mel Morris did and everything that the administrators were doing.. they still went after Gibson. Idiots!

When Wayne Rooney is the only thread of decency at your club, then you know you are sunk.

On a serious note he does deserve credit for sticking in there and showing good leadership.
There's shades of Venables at Leeds in how he's tried to do his best whilst circumstances have been massively stacked against him.
He deserved better tbh, whilst you certainly can't say the same for Mel & Co.

This was in the Derbyshire Live in December 21. I wonder how many of them will stay when the shark's circle.

Derbyshire Live:

Derby have almost a full squad out of contract at the end of the season.

The list of players includes skipper Tom Lawrence, Kelle Roos, Nathan Byrne, Curtis Davies, Craig Forsyth, Graeme Shinnie, Ravel Morrison, Colin Kazim-Richards, Richard Stearman, Ryan Allsop, David Marshall, Isaac Hutchinson, Louie Watson, Jordan Brown and Lee Buchanan, although Buchanan's deal has an option of a further 12 months.

Striker Sam Baldock's contract expires in mid-January.

I had a look at their forum a couple of days back and there was someone who was pushing a song that was blaming Gibson and the EFL for trying to take them out of business, I have a feeling when we play them again they will still be idiots about it.

I heard they might be starting next season with a points deduction.. can’t see us playing them for quite a while.

It'll be a different situation if (as looks likely) they are released from their contracts. End of May I believe? It is probable that the takeover would remain incomplete so DCFC would be unable to offer contracts to them. At that point the offer of a contract from Milton Keynes or whoever looks hard to turn down.

Derby was a ground I loved to go to, the mud, the closeness to the pitch, it was always blood and thunder. On and off the pitch.
Me too, remember, 1975, the walk to the ground when houses, shop windows in a couple of streets very close to the ground were boarded up, I couldnt believe my eyes
