Middlesbrough House Is Most Haunted In The Country

More great news for the town and apparently 2 of the houses in the competition were from Derby!

'The main criterion to be the most haunted house was having a horrible nightmare, waking up and being relieved that it wasn’t real, but then something really horrible happening to make you unsure whether you really had woken up, or had just woken up in the nightmare, and so there was still the potential for even more horrible things to happen because you were actually still having a nightmare.'

Loads of reads on this story. Thank you. Haunted houses have always been a big deal on Teesside.
Morning update. The house is currently being rebuilt and according to the bookies is red hot favourite to take the title of Europe’s Most Haunted House which will be a first for Middlesbrough. Boro on the up!

Middlesbrough is tied 1st with every other town in the country for the most haunted house (with 0 ghosts).

Nonsense. Swansea is the most haunted place in the country. And I should know. Ectoplasm makes pretty good hair gel if you're on a budget though. I've only ever encountered one ghost in Teesside. And it wasn't scary at all. Just disturbingly flirtatious. I'm starting to think that you're just making all of this stuff up Fantastic News of Boro, you cheeky little scamp.

Telling lies myself now. I've seen loads of ghosts in Norton. But I don't really think of them as ghosts. And they're harmless enough. Down by where they found that Saxon burial ground. They just hang around looking sad and confused because archaeologists dug them up and stole all of their stuff and put it in museums. Poor sods.
