What was your first ever Boro game?

Dunno, but I remember it was a rubbish 0-0 and cold. That should have tipped me off. It was 1974ish and either West Ham or Villa based on my memory of the kit. I saw a few 0-0's against both when I was young, so they are mixed up in my brain now.

Lefty, Boro drew 0-0 with West Ham.
Villa were in the 2nd division that season

My first game I can remember properly was at home v Brighton in 92, 4 nil win.

My old man took me (apparently) to loads of games before that but that is the one I remember.

The first game I actually paid into fully once I stopped sneaking in was against Charlton at home. We won 2-0. I think it was the 91 season

I was at a wedding at the Ladle that day and he turned up to the night do and he talked me through the match and his goals and gave me his autograph :)

Which made up for me being a F***ing Page boy in a corduroy suit

A 1-0 defeat at home to Tranmere in Robbo's first season in 1994. Must have been 8 at the time. Used to hate standing as I could never see. Think it was the South-East corner.

My first game too - in the Boys End. Clough got 4. First game of the season I think - clear blue skies - like discovering heaven.

I was in there too age 9 almost 10, my dad was on the other side of the wall in the bob end to keep an eye on me. Got the bus from Doggy market place

I might have been stood next to you. :)
I think I got the N bus down from Park End for this game but would normally cycle down and leave the bike in one of the houses nearby - they charged a couple of coppers to look after it.

It was against Aston Villa, we won 1-0 around August/September 1969

Villa did not get through our defences - "no pasaran" that afternoon.

Video was not invented then so I can't show the match.

As said earlier I cannot remember it. However I do remember getting some pick and mix from Woolworths on the way. Also getting a squeeze on the way in. Plus bovril at half time.
