Team for Barnsley

(3 - 4 - 1 - 2) - i'd like to see start, but probably a little attack heavy for NW - all 10 outfield players can get a goal in that team.

I know we're short on numbers but it pains me to see good attacking talent like Jones and Hernandez having to play as wing backs ☹️

When we have a fully fit squad (or close), i'd like to see a front 3 of Hernandez, Jones and Sporar.
 
Start with the team which ended the second half on Satda.
Wear Barnsly out, then bring Sporar off the bench to stretch the tiring tykes.
Jones, Hernandes, Coburn and Payero are fast and will stretch them.
Keep Crooks where he was.
I prefer being in a "crisis" - because Warnock has no choice but to deviate from his stodgy pudding-like football.
Gives the lads chance to show what they can do - and from Satda - we could do with it again(y)

Yeah, their old boss is doing the same with West Brom.

I’d stick with Howson and McNair in defence and keep Peltier on the bench.

Be tempted to keep Ikpeazu in from the start as well, although their form is awful they aren’t exactly conceding goals for fun, it’s mostly 1-0s. Ikpeazu could wear them down and then I’d look to bring Coburn on again later in the game.

I have a feeling Watmore could be rested but apart from that it should be the same team. Anyone know if Marcus Brown is nearing first team action?

That's what I would start with. Jones to be a great weapon from the bench in last 20 mins.

No chance midfield is very lightweight. He likes a holding midfielder....
