The word is , celebrity Arsenal fan Jamie Bell (Paddy Power offering 16/1).

I've got my agent on the case. I think that the world is finally ready for the first bumfaced Bond. We've already had a female Doctor in Doctor Who so I think I have a reasonable chance of getting the part. Wish me luck with the audition lads.
 
My brother who is a massive James Bond fan reckons the actor will come out of the blue and be not a complete unknown but somebody who can quickly be just known for being Bond. He reckons that just like they did with Daniel Craig the character of James Bond will be as if none of the other stories have ever existed. They may make references to them (Halle Berry rising out of the sea for example) but there is unlikely to be any continuation (not surprising really) from the Daniel Craig incarnation.

So that means I'm still in with a chance 🤣
 
Underwhelming if so .. but, without being accused of height-ism .. he's too small surely? Isn't he about 5'6" or something? Surely Bond should be a big 6 foot tall strapping lad .. The Bond girls will tower over Jamie Bell.

If he's up for it - I'd go Tom Hardy

You do know Tom Hardy is only 5' 9"?

Besides, too many tattoos in prominent places.
 
It will be ex Jason Bourne, Matt Damon. Revealed as James Bond’s secret son to Jill St John. Might as well combine the series.
