Fulham ticket details?

I have 168 points, and so broadly agree with you on all of that. I don't get to many home games because I don't live on Teesside, but that's one of the reasons I've kept my season ticket (even when living in the US) is so that I can have the best chance of getting tickets for the games I want.

My challenge is how the next generation of supporters can ever hope to get tickets for high demand games, if they're always behind the more senior generation simply because we've had our ST's longer.

I actually don't think there's a fair way of solving these type of problems, as peoples individual circumstances will always drive dis-satisfaction.
By changing the points for going the games this issue could be partly addressed.

By making it 4 points a home game someone who has been to 20 home games in the last 12 months would have 80 points - the same as Gold season ticket holder. A very keen young supporter could then benefit if they are not a seaosn ticket holder. At present its 3 points per home game giving 60 points which is still not bad. Or they could buy a season ticket and get 70 points. Using points can help newer supporters, compared to say just saying Gold season ticket holders.

Still a few tickets available, 3 a minute ago, people have them in their basket & don't complete so they become available again. Anyone wanting one should keeping checking for the next half hour or so

The priority points system appears an improvement to what there was before. People who go to most away games and have season ticket card should get first choice. The best seats should go to the highest points. Its right for a season ticket card and number of away games to both contribute.

I know Boro fans in London may not like it, as it might mean they don't get a London away match ticket. My response is buy a season ticket and just go to odd games you can. Often moving to London means a sizeable increase in salary and right off £420 of that for a season ticket. Most Boro away games do not sell out, its rare for an away game to not go on general sale at some point. Of course it might change if we pick up this season.
Red I live in London. If I told you what I was paying in rent it would make your eyes water. To buy a season ticket and the travel would mean I'd have to go without food. Priority system was a real kick in the teeth for me. But like you said I don't think I've missed a game down here since it was introduced as they don't tend to sell out. I'll be right narked when we start doing well again and I can't get a ticket though.

Had trouble logging in, it thought I was a robot at first.
Almost missed out, was waiting for the screen to change like the old days, but the tickets just appeared below sight.
Only a few left when I got ours.
UTB!

there are very few Gold card holders, the majority of which will not travel, they are not the problem.

There will never be a solution that pleases everyone but everyone wants their solution to be the answer.

Showing 4 tickets still available now

Tough today to get a ticket today even with over 170 points.

I went on at exactly 3pm and there were only 50 tickets in P5 - so they have sold them before 3pm or someone/people had taken over 85% of the block before they went on sale!

Anyone notice this?

Don't forget there will have been a hefty number syphoned off before today's sale.
Corporates, family friends, away season tickets etc

DCI - which group are the problem?

Or put it another way how would you distribute the 1000 Fulham tickets?

Is it a closed shop though? You can build up a lot of points by having a season ticket and then each time you buy a ticket (home or away) you move ahead.
The majority voted for a priority system. I think it is fair because of those people travelling to Cardiff on a Wednesday night and then unable to get in to a Saturday game at York or somewhere. But am not defending it for personal reasons as it doesn't effect me one way or another.
I have always suspected that there are far less regulars going to most away games than people think. I don't know if that makes sense - but from going to all the away games I know there are far less in my group than most people realise. ie Most Boro seasons the number going to every away game is around a 100 or less. Some seasons a lot less.
The number going to most of the away games is also going to be far less than you might anticipate - it won't be a 1000 or anywhere even coming close to that total I wouldn't think. It is probably only a few hundred at most going to the majority of away games.
If you only go to a couple of away games then you probably fear there are far more buying for every away game than there actually are.
This was written without any facts or stats but just going on feeling. Perhaps getting the actual stats from the ticket office could set peoples minds at rest.

Presumably they won't leave it at 160 points and it will be a sliding scale? So potentially the points target is constantly moving with those who are already in the right side of the total in a great position to stay in it, with the rest of us unable to catch-up.

Had my season ticket for years and never had an issue getting tickets previously, now it's a closed shop and I can't even get a look-in as I'm 3 points short.

This happens at every club that has implemented such a system, a closed shop forms. Those who have the points then buy tickets for those without enough points, and their points total continues to build.

MFC have massively devalued their own product.

85% - 90% siphoned off is a big hefty! (450 out of 500)

I agree away season ticket holders should have forst choice, but I thought we had less than 100 of them according to Rob.

I've no idea of the numbers as they are never publicised (some clubs make the numbers publicly available).

I would say there is some truth here, but to be honest we rarely sell out an away game.

Can anyone tell me which games sold out in 2019/20? before general sale or even in 2018/19 it must have been about 3 or 4 at most out of 23.

Sure enough just got a message:

"Our mate from work who doesn't have a season card just got 4 tickets using his mate's dad's season cards. Works both ways as they get the points."

So predictable.

The first percentage I quickly scanned myself - a screen came up at 3pm during the purchase process and it showed seat still available to buy and seats sold.

As said Rob Nichols often seems to know away ticket numbers or he gets a good idea from the Club.
