Canelo v Saunders 👍

Forget football - this is proper sport. Unbeaten two-weight world champion Saunders takes on global superstar Canelo Alvarez in front of 70 thousand fans in Dallas.

Just to note, in theory this is a £30 pay per view fight but it's live on Dazn for a ridiculous £1.99 monthly subscription. As it stands, that's less than £24 per year for a range of boxing content including some the biggest fights that would normally be on PPV.

You can subscribe for one month I guess as it says cancel anytime?

Yes, you can subscribe and cancel as you like.

I hope Alvarez wins. Really don’t like Saunders, utter bell end that lad.
Will be interesting to see how it pans out. Saunders can be an idiot but there's always plenty of fun and games. Even though Saunders likes to be mobile, I have a feeling he might trade with Canelo on the inside.

I’d be surprised if he decided to trade with Canelo. Surely there would only be one winner. I’d have thought he’d be on his toes , looking to be in and out hoping to nick a points victory.

Good luck trying to nick a victory against Canelo with 70 thousand Mexicans cheering him on. If he is to win, Saunders will have to land some significant leather, he must surely know this and will have prepared for it.

Yeah that’s a good point.

Personally I can’t see past a Canelo win.

If Saunders fails .......he can always punch the wife

Hope & expect The drug cheat to batter him !!!!

Had DAZN since they started the £1.99 offer - I think one of the guys on here posted a link that got you a free month as well...it's only going to last as long as they need to get all the sports on DAZN channels (they want it all...the NFL, NBA, NHL, etc)

As for this fight, BJS is controversial talks ballhooks at times comes across poorly and is a loose cannon - he’s rubbed near on everyone up the wrong way since arriving in Texas and that’ll not curry favour with the officials - but he can box, has fast hand speed and uses the ring well. But is that enough? Since BJS’s KO record isn’t one that says he has the power to knock Canelo out – based on previous bigger punchers being unable to do same, it means he has to win a decision. Thus, BJS would have to comprehensively outbox Canelo for 12 rounds and get in and out without getting hit by his heavy artillery to convince the judges over there and even then, he'd probably only scrape a draw.

As much as I’d like to see a British fighter be the undisputed champion, I just can’t see how he does it, anything can happen in boxing and it might be one of those nights, but for me it’s Canelo – who has the speed and defence to check BJS’s offence and the power to take him down.
