FAO Neil Warnock ( hopefully you’re reading the site )

Warnock's win percentage is 44%
Tony Pulis' win percentage was 43.75%

It's not just about win percentage. Tony Pulis was given the keys to a Ferarri in the championship and he drove it live a tractor.

Warnock has come in, saved the team from relegation, chucked out the dross and put a much needed arm around the younger players.
What a great description 👍

Neil is simply a lovely man. He isn’t a magician or a rocket scientist.

However, he is focused, inspirational, positive and loved by (most of) his players and employers alike. He is as honest as the day is long with his players and wonderful company to be in away from the pitch. He doesn’t suffer fools gladly but if there is something to unearth within a player, he will take time to do so and is the best man manager I have ever witnessed, If you are reading this Neil, your half time team talk on the pitch when manager at Scarborough was a delight and never forgotten.

He has good trusted people around him to help with the daily grind, but he comes alive on matchdays. He oozes confidence, humour, banter and his players cross that line taller, stronger with self belief. He is more than happy to spend time with sensible fans and even have a bit of sport with the daft ones. Away from football, he is a gentleman. Many will recall I have wanted him here for years. I think he has vindicated my comments over the years and inside a few month has turned what was in danger of becoming a basket case of our own leaders making into a competitive football team and brought the club, its players and fans together for the first time since 2015/16 season. Boro are on the way back. Neil is the architect and I for one am grateful to have him fighting our cause.

Superb post 🤩

Neil, you know feck all about Brexit but you’re a proper football manager and I’m delighted to have you at the club.

Glory fest over . Keep it up , and in January sign the 3 players to make a difference .
Keeper - covered
Defence - maybe one addition at CH
Midfielder - covered , although I would go for Ali McCann if we could afford it
Goal scorers ? Maybe watmore can do a Job , but we need to sell Briitt to the highest bidder , and let Neil buy his CF choice .
He says we need wingers ? Wingers don't often score , poachers do .
Kevin Nisbet ?
In NW I trust .

Hes Saved us from the 3rd division in 8 games .
We’ve gone from needing to replace bola and dijksteel , to turning them into potential premier league players .
You can never know the positive effect a football club has on a community. During this ‘pandemic’ moral has been low but he’s managed to give tens and thousands of people a massive lift that extends beyond football .
I hope we can show our appreciation by packing that stadium when the gates open . 35k might be unthinkable but if can dream of promotion after staring into the abyss last season I’m happy to dream 👍😎

We’ve been discussing Cloughie on an another thread on here and ( as I understand you do read posts on here ) some of the posters have given you a cracking testament of excellence . Here’s mine :

You can’t put a price on the impact NW has done to not only the club ( which is obvious by the performances ) but also the area of Teesside .
In this forsaken year of 2020 ( in all aspects of life ) in my opinion he has been the biggest shining light we’ve all had to look up to .
If you’re reading this Neil , well done buddy . In fact I’m going to post this separately so hopefully he does see it .

So come on Boro fans , detail your feelings on here so hopefully he sees how much we love him .

Well I don't know where we will finish this season but so far it's been the best for donkey's years (and I include the Karanka years in that because even when successful we fairly negative). Yes we still struggle to score goals but we look like a real 'team' i.e. greater than the sum of the parts and some of the parts are playing exceptionally well.

I just love his press conferences - the honesty and the humour. Breath of fresh air!
